Klass Money will be performing in Dominica for the first time

Dominican rap artiste based in Miami who is currently signed with a major independent label will perform for the first time on his home soil.

Klass Money, who’s real name is Jefferson Scottland, will be performing live at The Krazy Koconuts next month, Saturday, May 21st.

The rapper who was born in River Street, Roseau but moved to Wallhouse at a young age, was offered a five-year recording deal with ReddCity Music Group in 2015, which is actually the second time Klass has managed to land a deal; his first was in 2009 with Midwest Flawless Entertainment in Missouri.

“It’s been years since I’ve been to Dominica, and now that I’m in a better situation I feel like its only right that I go out there and celebrate with my people and give them a great time,” Klass said. “I have been making a name for myself and I want to share my talent with Dominicans and also give Dominicans a chance to share their talent with me. They have been supporting me and I want to show them how much I appreciate that.”

As part of the upcoming event, a competition has also been launched where local artistes will get a chance to perform on stage with the rapper. The top three artistes will also get a feature from Klass Money.

Klass Money’s achievements stem from various music videos, including a catalog accumulating over a million hits on YouTube, tens of thousands of
social media followers and tons of digital sales.

I would congratulate the artist for breaking barriers and being able to achieve his desires. But, I would Boo DNO 100000 times for promoting such explicit music material as a representation from the Nature Island. Every Individual and his comment has a right but the Root of the matter is the Truth, and that is…. As a small population with a certain mentality…This type of show will do much better in Miami for etc…..Its silly that when Independent producers try to have events with so called explicit Foreign artists it creates a Buzz till the event gets cancelled….Now its a local case..So its promoted ….But Klass Money should not have any high expectations… just more promo at home i guess… Festival and event organizers, Festivals commision , DNO etc..Yall need an interview with a particular Individual. One who will teach the youth about Mental agriculture , how to live of the land , Create Positive word sound that brings righteousness around , Not evil…I rap but 7043

    I…

I’m not happy he’s pointing his fingers like guns, especially after reading about that other clown in the sweet shop. I hope he will not be signing about shooting and assness.

Look I know that boy from childhood. His parents and grandparents are from a tiny village the majority if then have migrated to the US for years and have never given up their Dominican accent .Obviously his might have changed since he was educated in the US So to assume his accent is horrible is simply stereotype. If you are criticizing ,do it constructively. .Sometimes we are too judgemental
