Youth entertainment group to honour Raymond Lawrence and others at Sa Pa Face-Off

Reality Steppers Entertainment (RSE), a local youth entertainment group, will on Saturday, Dec. 11 host the first ever “Sa Pa Face-Off” at the Arawak House of Culture.

Chief Cultural Officer Raymond Lawrence will be honoured during the event.  Dominica’s ‘Lady of Song’ Ophelia Marie, leader of Esclav Band Yohann Ferrol and one outstanding member of the organization, will also receive awards.

According to a press release from the group, the event will also include different musical renditions, bands, modeling, performing arts, dances, drama, skits, choreography, storytelling and others.

Ophelia Marie, Reality Musical Crew Band, Esclav Band, TMB, Colton, Signal band will also grace the stage, among others.

“It is designed to captivate the mind, spirit, body and soul of every one, all ages and strata in the society. This event will serve to enhance socialization and community spirit among our people and to see the best out of our youth,” the release said.

‘Reality Steppers Entertainment’ is made up of three groups: Reality Musical Crew, a band;Outter Street Stepperz, dancers; and Well Red Entertainment, musical entertainers. The group consists of over  40 skilled registered members and growing with over 20 females and over 20 males, between the ages of 15 and 25.

The show starts at 7 p.m.
