I’ m hoping there would be no loss of life and that any damage to property and crops would be minimal.
The government should invest in bright, young, local, civil engineers. The country needs a new and comprehensive network of roads and bridges. The drainage systems need to be seriously upgraded.
We should not rely on the Chinese exclusively for our infrastructural development. What we get from them is mostly shiny objects. They may look go but can’t stand the test during times of adversity.
Again, hope that all resident Dominicans would endure this inclement weather unscathed.
