The authorities and family of a 68-year old man who resides in Newtown are soliciting the public’s assistance in locating him.
The senior, Lennard Fitzroy Samuel known to many in the community as “Controlz”, was reportedly last seen on September 8, 2021.
The daughter of the missing man, Delia Samuel, informed Dominica News Online (DNO) that on the said date, her father came to her home, had something to eat and since then neither she, other family members or those he associates with in the communities of Newtown or Citronier, have seen him.
The concerned daughter who described her father as a loner, said he was dressed in an orange shirt, jeans and had a nap sack on his back.
Earlier this week, the family was informed that Samuel may have gone to the hospital as he suffered from a leg injury, however, when contacted medical professionals at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) informed the family that there is no recently-admitted patient by that name.
Anyone with information that can lead to the whereabouts of Lennard Fitzroy Samuel is asked to contact the nearest police station, a family member or the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
But how could the judge fine the 12 Haitians $2500 to be paid forth with and the two Dominicans that should be key witnesses of the crime or even in the center of the crime have both escaped in my opinion?
The person that was supposed to be the captain the police said jumped into the water and escaped lol and up till now has not been see. So is he missing and presumed drown? Why is his name and photo not given so in case he is seen we could inform the police? The other Dominican said he is not guilty and is a free man on bail.
In my opinion the judge should not even allow the case to go through until the main man, the captain was found and brought before the court so we could know 1. Who that person is 2. How much each Haitian paid 3. Who the Haitians paid and 4. Where is the money. These are all important because we know it’s been alleged that some government ministers own boats or have interest in boats involved in that trade.
I just find the Judge was unjust to the Haitians
