I hear Skerrit party hijacking the fathers day there yesterday. That is not a political event you guys but for everyone. You don’t have to be red to be a good father. You got nothing better to do than such cheap propaganda. You guys are sick.

I Celebrated today as fathers because I am a proud dad who has always been there for my children and their first line of protection. May the good Lord continue to guide and protect them. They are the witnesses I will be leaving behind to prove I was on planet earth.

Every child has the basic human right to both a mother and a father.

Unfortunately the father figure is sometimes absent from the child’s life; either by death, neglect or through the break-up of a marriage. Of the three, death is perhaps the easiest to cope with for the father remains in spirit. Neglect and being forcibly separated by way of divorce is a greater loss and one that negatively affects the child throughout life.

On Father’s Day, let us remember: FAMILIES NEED FATHERS.
