Talented reggae singer and guitarist E.sy Kennenga will be on stage at the Alliance on Tuesday the 14th of July (Bastille day / French national day) – a good occasion to celebrate the end of the term with our students and members!

During his musical career, E.sy has shared the stage with some of the biggest acts on the Zouk scene such as Kassav, Zouk Machine, Tanya St Val, Stevy Mahy as well as dancehall artists such as Admiral T, Xman, Misié Sadik, Krys…
He is well loved in the Caribbean and has sold out shows in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Grenada, St. Lucia, Haiti. E.sy Kennenga has toured internationally in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, Belgium, France, and as far as Russia. A vocalist and guitarist, E.sy fuses reggae, dancehall and Zouk with pop music to create a dynamic and unprecedented sound. When blended with the French language as well as lyrics in Creole and English, the songs exude a global sensibility while reflecting the unique musings of this singular writer.

The Alliance Française is therefore proud to partner with various local institutions such as Digicel, Arden Sounds, Pirates Ltd, Fort Young Hotel, Discover Dominica Authority and Kubuli.

Opening the show will be local favourites such as Mel-C and other guest artists.

Entry is EC$10 for members of the public and is free for Alliance Française members and students.

The show will begin at 7:30pm.
