No way should a man who appointed himself minister of finance be in sole control of millions of dollars of Dominican people’s money, that money should be under the control of a board of trustees selected of trusted persons from all areas of Dominica, yours truly needs to account for all the money. An audit of his personal bank account should be conducted to see if there are any large deposits over his salary.

Public service. What about those of you the PM promised to appoint in you job? Remember what he said on the Newtown Savanna, ” I run things in Dominica…”. Did You get appointed? I’m guessing no because it would mean an increase in salary. What about those of you waiting on a salary increase for years now? I know for sure you not getting it. How I know? Before a government can increase salaries for so many people they must cater for it in their budget. Just like when you invite people to dinner you have to make sure there will be enough food. Same concept. So there will be no appointments and no increases. Take that public service!

That has been and that will be the legacy of the Skerrit administration. Absolutely no transparency! Not as far as finances is concerned, not as far as policies is concerned. But soon we all find out the real damage this man has done to our beloved country.

Somebody, anybody explain this to me plz. How does a foreigner buying $200,000 US in real estate benefit us? 😒 I doh understand that. The real estate is their property at the end of the day, all we get is the ridiculously low government fees. So they get the property and our passports for what $25,000 – $30,000 a piece if they have a large family. And their children getting passports for free? Why? So their children not going to grow up then? I paid for my children passports wii.
BTW, I saw this on the CBI website Tony Astaphan suggested.

A budget address of the usual lies and cover-up. He needs to tell us where to find over one billion dollars that missing. Unless he truthfully tells us about the monies his budget address makes no sense

Waw. What a nice outfit on Mrs. PM, spectacular. Is that Gucci? Yves Saint Laurent? Dolce and Gabanna, perhaps? I cannot afford such luxuries papa. I will stay in my lane. What about you guys that bon jean with them, what brand name is your suit? Wait, you mean your suit is not designer too? 8-O

The double doctor was caught mouth wide open and speechless, when honourable patriot Linton questioned the house about the people’s money..
This was the best piece of opposition astuteness and brilliance the country has seen in recent times and this is really crafty, responsible, clever and caring work!
    Well done patriot Linton!
    Keep it up!

  10. What you up to Skerrit?
    August 3, 2019

Mr. Skerrit. If your ministry was transparent about the cash flow from the CBI program, what you received, where you kept it, what you did with it, no one would have any reason to doubt your sincerity. But, since you choose to be shady and dodging questions about these things, we have no other alterative but to believe you have something to hide. To make matters worse, your lifestyle appears to be disproportionate to the salary and benefits you are supposed to receive. It just does’t add up, Sir.
Now, you are going to tell us what you did with over $1,000,000,000 (1 billion dollars)😠
