5th National Dollar Day set for Oct. 29

The Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities Incorporated (DAPD Inc.) is schedule to hold its 5th National Dollar Day on Friday, October 29, 2010, and the association is soliciting the support of the Dominican public,  returning Dominicans, as well as visitors in its efforts to raise EC $25,000.

The event’s theme is ‘Supporting DAPD’s Sustainability and Creating Opportunities  for the Empowerment  of Persons with Disabilities’.

DAPD Inc.  therefore  kindly solicits your generous support  as we undertake this year’s event.

Contributions can be  made  in one of the following  categories:

Corporate Citizens $200.00 and above.
Professional Citizens:   $100.00 and  above.
Private Citizens   $20.00 and above.
Faith Based Organisations  $100.00  and above.
Donation boxes are also available at business places around the island.
