Digicel hosted over 25 members of Special Olympics Dominica team at Day two of the First Cricket Test Match: West Indies vs Australia, at Windsor Park Stadium.
The Special Olympians were very excited to watch the cricket match live, being fans of the sport, themselves.
President of Special Olympics Dominica Ainsworth Irish said; “We’re very happy that Digicel has again made the effort to host us at cricket. Among us are many cricket fans. In fact, they play cricket at school weekly and its good for them to be a part of the game on this level…”
Special Olympics Dominica is also preparing to represent the nature island at the World Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles, Carlifornia from July 25 – August 2, 2015.
