Digicel brought cheer to more than 115 children on Friday as part of its Gifted kids initiative this Christmas.
With help from Santa, Digicel donated gifts, and led Christmas caroling at the Goodwill Christian Union primary school.
Central to the Digicel Get Gifted Christmas campaign, is giving back to vulnerable children in Dominica with the company’s Gifted Kids initiative.
This weekend, Digicel will bring love and joy to about 30 kids during its sponsored event “Kairi FM Christmas Wonderland”, at Botanic Gardens.
The children will be treated to photos with Santa and their favourite cartoon characters as well as being presented with gifts.
My people destroyed for lack of knowledge, the knowledge you so called Reverend keep from them.
You very well know that Christmas is a pagan festival and Jesus could not and was not born on 25th, December, but you are still encouraging people to continue in their sin, same as not keeping the sabbath holy.
Thanks Digicel, well done. More companies should come out and bring Christmas cheer to our children.
DIGICEL:
What a wonderful work you are doing And this includes all who are supporting DIGICEL and making their good work possible.
The pictures are beautiful. Just to see the smiles on so many faces put a smile on my own face. The joy they must have felt should make us all joyful. At that moment – if only for a second – they realized their importance and knew they were not forgotten.
I pray God will visit each of your “houses of worship” by His Holy Spirit over this Christmas season
and give to every one you a fresh appreciation of why Jesus came: that He might give His life a ransom for us “that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but HAVE everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.
