The Operation Youth Quake located at Savanne Park is the recipient of LIME’s Christmas Random Act of Kindness. As part of the company’s just ended Upgrade Christmas promotion, customers were invited to donate non-perishable items to a food basket, to be presented to a deserving institution which cares for the less privileged in our society.

Accompanied by residents of the Operation Youth Quake, Deputy Director Mary Louis was on hand at the LIME Flagship Store on Friday to accept the grocery items. “The young people will really enjoy what’s being offered to us here today” said Ms. Louis with gratitude to LIME and all the contributors.

LIME’s General Manager Jeffrey Baptiste said the Operation Youth Quake was selected considering the plight of the young people who are housed at the that institution. “These are young people who have been marginalized, abused and facing some kind of crisis. It is our hope that the donation of the food basket will cover a significant aspect of the Operation Youth Quake’s food bill” said Mr. Baptiste. The Operation Youth Quake is home to eight young people.

Also on Friday, the final group of winners in the LIME Upgrade Christmas promotion were presented with their prizes. The Alcatel One Touch tablet winners are Derriman Angol, Sister Jaya Sernandez, Misnarque Burton, Naomi Nicholls, Mathias Joseph, Ian Dorival and Naomi Jno Paul. The Fugoo Bluetooth speaker winners included Albert Noel, Geraldine Julien-Coker, Arundell Thomas, Alphonso Lilite, Greg Francois, Andrew Corriette, Braund Phillip and Moreen John.

The LIME Facebook Top Fan Alcatel One Touch tablet winners are Joanne Registe and Nicholas Challenger.
