Chavez recovering well after surgery

Chavez

The Venezuelan Embassy here has issued a statement from President Hugo Chavez explaining that he is recovering well following surgery in Cuba to remove a pelvic lesion.

“The surgery was carried out as expected, producing satisfactory results and a recovery plan was established for the coming days,” the statement says.
“The pelvic lesion was totally removed, as well as the surrounding tissue. There were no complications with regard to adjacent organs. Immediate post-surgery has been clinically stable, without systemic complications.”

“He is adequately recovering with the post-operative rehabilitation. In the coming hours the histology tests will be available, which will determine the optimum medical treatment for the lesion,” the statement continues.

The Venezuelan president’s health situation has also been reported on by the Associated Press news agency, which reports that doctors successfully extracted a tumor from Venezuelan President Chavez’s pelvic region and he was stable and recovering in Cuba on Tuesday with family at his side, according to his vice president.

“President Chavez is in good physical condition,” Vice President Elias Jaua told the main chamber of the National Assembly, prompting a standing ovation and cries of “Onward, comandante!” AP reported.

Hugo Chavez and his government are a well known benefactor of the Dominica Labour Party administration of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.

Feel better, you have done much more to Domionica’s Infrastructure development than alot of the other countries, IMF, World Bank combined and you and Venezuela have asked for nothing in return but for frienship.

So on behalf of Dominica, I will apologize for those of the negative comments based on the politics of the opposition of the time.

Because we know if they were on the government side, they would be happy for the assistance you have provided and have not asked us to squeeze the tax payers like the IMF/World Bank/IDB

Feel better, get well soon El Presidente

I am still trying to comprehend why this honourable gentleman is given so much attention in the local media. Chavez this, Chavez that; he is just a human being like the rest of us:we all get sick, better and eventually die so what is this big and perpetual interest with Chavez?

And do not forget that politicians are known to lie unashamedly. That trait is a pre-requisite for becoming a politician…. But the voters eventually put an end to their “chupidness” and reign!!
