Dominica News Online (DNO) is pleased to announce that the comment rating (thumbs up/thumbs down) feature is functional.
In recent day there was a glitch with the feature where some readers could rate comments while others could not.
The glitch has been rectified and we hope the measures taken have effectively resolved the problem and the feature will remain an integral part of DNO.
We also appreciate the patience and feedback received from our many readers.
DNO you must have heard of a new glitch (whatever it is called) the BladeShade (?). I heard of it and read it on the Internet. I saved all the FBI information.
Computer users are asked to check their system for codes which were provided by the FBI and if they found any to report it to the FBI.
The FBI arrested many people, one from Sweden who will be extradicted to the US to face charges. He devised those systems and sold them on the Internet for $40.00. Thousands of people purchased them. I also read they are from nineteen (19) countries with more arrest to come. I am eagerly waiting to hear the names of those countries.
I had been hearing how computers could be taken over and information compromised. This included keyboards. This one is as bad as the HeartBleed or worst.
Approximately one million computer worldwide are affected. Was your computer system affected. I have not yet checked mine but will be doing so as soon as I talk with my technician. I hope your readers/users are all aware of it and will check theirs.
Prison for those who are caught.
Thanks DNO you have kept your promise
We hope this will never, ever recur. It is not the first time this has happened. Of course it made those of us who were not able to comment for weeks suspicious.
You need a new Server and an experienced technician. The last time I stated, DNO needs a fundraising.
I thought, and as I told someone if I were fortunate to win an exorbitant sum of money from the lottery, I would give you some – not lend – for repairs or to purchase a new system.
Thank you DNO. It is working for me, for sure! And I am hoping that it will remain so, as it should for all of us.
Many thanks DNO for a job well done. The Lougaoo Mem highly appreciates the services you provide to your readers and the nation @ large.
Continue to keep the people inform and we shall respond in kind.
Laborats already claimed that you were deliberately causing it so no one could thumbs up their comments.
You blame them?
Thank you DNO. It is indeed functional.
You are doing a wonderful job!
