DASUS – the Dominica Association of Seventh-day Adventists in the U.S. – will hold its Annual Dominica Day Church Service on Saturday, November 05, 2016 at the Grand Concourse Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1275 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York.
Dominica Day will commemorate the 38th Anniversary of Dominica’s Independence.
The theme for Independence Day is “Strengthening Our Commitment to Nation Building”.
The celebration will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a culturally-themed Sabbath School.
Dominican-born, Pastor Josian Frampton, author, inspirational speaker, and founder of ‘He Leadeth Me Ministries’, will be the featured speaker at Divine Worship, which begins at 11:00 a.m.
A sumptuous Dominican-style Fellowship Luncheon will follow the service.
The afternoon program will highlight Dominica’s Independence Day theme.
Dominica’s Ambassador to the United Nations, the Consul General, and other dignitaries have been invited.
DASUS invites all Dominicans from across the United States of America (USA) to come together to worship God and acknowledge faith and heritage.

The last celebrations in NY have provided much joy. This first DASUS event, since the devastating hurricane, however, is likely to serve as a time of renewal and encouragement. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
