The Dominica Cadet Corps will this year host an overseas camp on the island of St. Lucia.
The camp will kick off from the 17th of July and end on the 25th.
There will be 105 cadets, along with officers, attending this camp.
The cadets will be engaged in both recreational and training activities.
A few of the activities include a church parade, a march through the town and island tour, just to name a few.
They will also have joint training with the St Lucian and British cadets.
The main objective of this trip is to allow the Dominican cadets to interact with thier international and regional counterparts.
The Dominica and St. Lucian cadets have built a strong relationship throughout the years and the aim of the camp is to build a tighter relationship hence the reason of hosting the camp on that island.
The Commandant, Colonel David Andrew, is more than excited about the camp and sees it as an integral part of training.
The cadets will travel via ferry to St. Lucia and back.
Best wishes for a successful camp.
