The Government of Dominica has joined the rest of the international community in condemning a nuclear test by North Korea on Friday, September 9 2016.

The test is reportedly North Korea’s biggest and it has sparked global outrage.

In a statement on Friday, the government said it also condemns North Korea’s continued defiance of United Nations’ resolutions.

“The Government of Dominica said it views North Korea’s actions “as unfortunate and a direct violation of United Nations Council’s resolution.”

Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit called on the leader of North Korea “to conform to international law and the advancing of global peace and security.”

    North Korea is a rogue nation.

    The man at the helm of this broken regime is clinically mentally ill. This is the most dangerous situation the world has seen since the fall of Hitler. If the U.N. is going to address anything it should be dealing with the leadership situation in North Korea. Most developed nations would no ta give driver’s license to a person in his condition.

    North Korea is a rogue nation. It has no respect for democracy and is now a dictatorship. The nation shows no regard for the wishes of other nations and their governments. They are engaging in dangerous nucular
    experiments. North Korea stifles the free exercise of religion and seeks to silence the evangelical witness.

    What the nation needs more than anything is the clear unfettered preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ
    that would bring lost men and women out of their fallen condition into the light of God’s salvation. They need the gospel that is defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and Romans 1:16.

      True Christianity is growing in South Korea.

      It is the thousands of Spirit filled believers in South Korea who have created a prayer defence against communism and prevented North Korea from breaking through into the south. The stories we have heard have been nothing short of miraculous. Again and again God has shown Himself strong on behalf of His people just as He did in W.W. 2.

      The worse is yet to come with North Korea but it will be dealt with. God is still on the throne.

      Our greatest weapons are prayer, the uncompromised preaching of the gospel, and revival in the churches that are open to the Holy Spirit. Evil regimes will collapse when the stone cut out without hands falls from heaven and the kingdom of God fills the earth.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

    I wonder what China has to say about Skerrit’s and his pointless political grand standing.

    • September 12, 2016

      China is casting its gaze out over the South China Sea and singing to itself

      Here an island,
      There an island,
      Everywhere an island,

      China will continue to give gifts to nations to get them to support their groundless claims.

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Evangelist.

      Ossie,
      The script is probably along these lines:

      China will look upon him and say “Good boy” then pat him on the head and put a biscuit in his bowl. He will then come back to the plantation and tell us how good a massa he is while distributing trinkets to his chosen ones.

      This is how coastal tribes in Africa were treated by Europeans to sell their neighbours into bondage. I doubt he really cares as long as his pockets are being lined. History often has a pattern of repeating itself. Whatever future prospect of wealth this nation has is being eroded and siphoned off, Dominicans will become second class citizens in their own land unless they wake up. Maybe its already happening

      I question words, I consider actions but I never doubt patterns.

    This conflict in the Korean Peninsula can only be solved by dialogue,and not sanctions..Both America and South Korea also need to stop their joint annual military exercises…The world cannot afford a conflict between North and South Korea…It will be too costly in terms of human lives..MILLIONS WILL PERISH!!!!!

    The right thing to do, there in lies a “MAD” man with Destructive means, an accident waiting to happen. We do not need more of them! U. S. A. hint! hint! I vote. Hope the South read that, and accept the Condemnation. But we still needs more Vehicles. We are living in the Real World.

    And north korea will hear and listen to Dominica. Why does Skerrit try to open his mouth like he has any teeth on world global issues. I guess Fominica is part of the security council. The most he could say is what north korea is doing is suicidal and if yhey ever develop and try to use nuclear weapons it eill be to thier detriment. Those who forget history will repeat the same mistakes. Jspan made that mistake ehen they bomb pearl harbor. Let north korea do what it wants. The worl need cleansing and is only some serious global catastrophe will put some sense in these arrogant world leaders. Que serra serra.

    The “pot” calling the “kettle” black? “as unfortunate and a direct violation of United Nations Council’s resolution.” This week, we had a direct violation of our constitution by not consulting with the leader of the opposition on the issue of the appointment of the Deputy Commissioner of Police. When will double standards end? When Jesus Christ will come again? But one thing I know, in his world, those who are guilty will surely pay.

    The citizens of the Caribbean join the Honourable Dr. Roosevelt Skerritt, in condemning:-

    1) The North Korea Nuclear tests
    2) The continued bombing of the sovereign nation of Syria and its citizens under the pretext of fighting the USA-created ISIS ($$) with no legal justification;
    3) The US-EU assistance to ISIS to spread its influence into Europe and beyond under the ‘refugee’ program;
    4) The continued and internationally supported genocide of the Palestinian people by the US state of Israel
    5) The continued US-Russian assault on the air that we breathe and our environment by the discharge to toxic materials (since 1940) into the the air via geogengineering programs (chemtrails)
    6) The continued manufacture and engineering of epidemics – zika, ebola, HIV, etc. – for the purposes of depopulation;
    7) To stop the hoax of climate change and the evil agenda behind it which is to enslave us all (further);
    8) To stop HAARP programs of weather warfare.

      Kimmy

      I commend your passion but i think it would be wiser for you to study subjects closer to home that affect you more directly:

      1) North Korea has no relevance to Dominica other than we get some cash from South Korea (In general Koreans hate blacks. Translate some of their literature to see)
      2) Syrians are Arab descendants whose ancestors enslaved black people for 1500 years
      3) Both Christianity & Islam approved and supported the enslavement of black people
      4) Palestinians are Arabs (see #2)
      5) We probably have had all kinds of pesticides sprayed here on our crops that the US wont allow on theirs.
      6) Totally agree. Notice the proximity of these epidemics to black populations.
      7) Focus more on the plight of the millions of dispossessed black Africans who populate the Americas and Caribbean who made the West what it is but have nothing in return for murder, rape, kidnap and abuses suffered. Look to stop the explotation of our people and start our own development . Peace,…

    ????????That is all I have to say.

  19. “The Government of Dominica said it views North Korea’s actions “as unfortunate and a direct violation of United Nations Council’s resolution.”

    Okay Francine and Skerrit tell us which unfortunate direct paragraph of the United Nations Council resolution North Korea violated. We know they tested a Nuclear bomb, right or wrong; I personally do not know which paragraph of the resolution the violated; so it is absolutely proper for you Skerrit to indicate which paragraph of the resolution they violated.

    Whoever, gave DON that stupid comment along with the picture of the 78 year old Korean woman dressed in black and pink known to the world as Canon Mouth, as if to say somebody made it available to Skerrit and his circus, we have seen her dressing like long before Skerrit was born.
    It is picture that can be copied from several newspaper around the world.

    Governments have a right to condemn North Korea.
    Will North Korea ever pay heed? Troublemakers who will incite a war. I am wondering what are they trying to prove?
    Watch out North Korea. One day you will disintegrate for your actions. You will cause your people to suffer. You, the Korean government will pay for it sooner or later.

    Empty, useless, vain words from a hypocrite prime minister. Her he is calling on North Korea “to conform to international law and the advancing of global peace and security.” yet the man does not conform to the laws and constitution of Dominica and does nothing to promote peace and harmony in Dominica.
