A video showing a fight among three students of the Dominica State College (DSC) has been posted online and it has since gone viral.
The fight occurred on Thursday and it was apparently filmed by someone with a cell phone.
The video was subsequently posted online and it soon appeared on several social media sites.
President of the Dominica State College (DSC) Dr. Donald Peters has maintained that there is zero tolerance for violence on the school’s campus.
“The college has a no violence policy in its code of conduct and so I am sure the students are being dealt with,” he told DNO on Friday.
He also said that the school has a policy on student’s privacy, therefore could not disclose what type of punishment the students will face.
“Discipline on campus stays on campus,” he said.
He did, however, say that the students “understand the code of the college and they understand what the consequences are.”
“This morning they met with the Director of the Student Services and I am sure they handled it appropriately,” Peters said.
