An earthquake shook several parts of Dominica on Thursday evening.
The Trinidad-based UWI Seismic Research Center said the quake took place at 9:45 pm and measured 3.8 on the Richter Scale.
The epicenter was located 64 kilometers east of Roseau at a depth of 48 kilometers.
There are no reports of damage.

Maybe so but that is real freedom of speech and freedom of expression and makes it a lot of fun. It also shows up the poor level of education in our country under the USE programme (Universal Secondary Education), which allows every one into secondary schools without passing tests.
A disaster struck ODM on February 1st 2016 when Corriette, Joseph and others were yank out of the office. Now you have a ….. specialist whose claim to fame in Dominica is just talk. Nothing to show for it while those other guys left a legacy of achievements under the Comprehensive Disaster framework behind . But let us wish the specialist and his new team well nevertheless..
Let’s hope this is not an omen for a bigger disaster. Our nation is too small to afford any more of these.

I don’t know about voodoo and I don’t know about MOST wicked. But I highly doubt what you say because some of the most wicked people to ever grace the face of this rock slaughtered people under the shadow of a cross claiming they were evil. I see none of that happening today in Dominica so I can safely say we’re nowhere close to being anywhere near the most wicked people on the planet.
Dante I am really interested to know who these most wicked people were the details of their crimes and the dates when this is supposed to have happened? It is a matter of record, however that our own enslaved people put an end to the maroons, under a certain captain Savarin, in the most uncompromising and brutal ways to execute a task the British army was unable to accomplish. Whether this was done under the sign of the cross I am not sure of but perhaps you enlighten us.

That was nothing more than a friendly reminder, a friendly warning if you will, like those friendly warnings Pharoah got before the real one. Hold on Dominica to the corruption of Skerrit as the real thing is yet to come, but not far at all. In case we forget, let’s be reminded of the 2004 Earth quakes that destroyed two Catholic Churches, above everything else and interestingly, in the village of Skerrit and in Portsmouth, the place where the majority of those sutiwea of Skerrit came from. Also, let’s not forget they happened in 2004, the year Skerrit some how was made PM. Let’s wait and see.
