An earthquake shook several Caribbean islands, including Dominica, early Tuesday morning.
The quake took place at about 5:30 am.
The United States Geological Survey says the magnitude of the earthquake was 6.7 on the Richter scale.
The epicentre was approximately 126 miles to the northeast of Bridgetown, Barbados and 130 miles east of Le Francois, Martinique at a depth of 20 miles.
Reports indicate it was felt in Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada and Gaudeloupe.
People from several islands have taken to social media to report their experience of the quake.
No damage has been reported so far.
