Dominica is to take part in the global screening of the first “One Day on Earth” feature documentary which is being held on Sunday April 22, 2012 worldwide.
In this feature documentary, filmmakers from all over the world share their images of one day in their country.
While showing a global perspective on major themes that affect persons in countries worldwide, the documentary also celebrates the power of creative collaboration.
The first of its kind, a piece from Dominican videographers Sheldon Casimir, Nixon George and Kurt Rolle, with music by Cornel Phillip is also included in the documentary.
All Dominicans, 13 years and over, are invited to attend the FREE screening of this film, at the Arawak House of Culture, this Sunday April 22nd at 6:00pm.

Don’t be blind “country”. Crime and violence happens everywhere. More prevalent in other countries at that. Look at Syria, Iraq, and caribbean countries like Jamaica.
