HHV Whitchurch Portsmouth hosts Christmas party

The party in progress

Whitchurch IGA Supercentre and Wholesale located at Picard, Portsmouth hosted 60 primary school aged students from Portsmouth and environs to a  fun-filled Christmas Party on Saturday 17th, December 2011.

The event was held at the Supercentre’s car park at Picard.

The kids enjoyed the bouncy castles set up for the event, face painting, sand art and other games and activities. They were served with an assortment of eats and drinks and received gifts from Santa who came by just in time to end a very fun filled day. Each child received a gift from Santa.

The Company hopes to make this an annual event as a means of giving back to the communities which it serves.  Various local suppliers made contributions to the worthy cause and for this the General Manager of H.H.V.Whitchurch & Co.(Portsmouth) Ltd, Cedric Sookhoo, and his team at Whitchurch IGA Supercentre and Wholesale, Picard are indeed very thankful.

Forget getting friends together to go there for xmas shopping. aisles may be wider and the store looks like it could be anywhere. Your HHV saver cards are no good. and the pricing is through the roof. It is in fact a different company.

Good redence for christmas is all about family and any thing geared to make the kids happy in the true sprit of Christmas should be commended hope the others business houses will follow suit. One suggestion to HHV Whitchurch please do some paving to that car park and plant some trees to create a true cool out and hang out spot.
