Over the weekend, the communities of Good Hope, San Sauveur and Petite Soufriere observed Fete Isidore, the feast of Farmers named for the Patron Saint of Farmers, St. Isidore.
Various activities were held and on Pentecost Monday, May 28th, a parade featuring local bands and groups proceeded to High Mass. One elder, Ruthine Alie of Petite Soufriere, who has given long and faithful service to the communities and to the celebration of the Feast of St. Isidore as honoured and eight farmers were recognized.
