This is a problem in Dominica. Some of these roads which were built in those days are unsafe. Some are situated above the road and are made of dirt, rocks and stones. We do know that when there are heavy rainfall, storms and hurricanes they are prone to landslides and are dangerous. Even on a normal day, this could occur with rocks falling unto the road. If only those roads could be diverted elsewhere where there are no cliffs with rocks and stones. If possible, they should be blasted and made flat.

If the slope is unstable, the authorities should not tell people to be careful, they should not allow anyone through that area until they are satisfied it is safe to do so.

That’s why I believe a village should have more than one entry incase of a disaster one way in same way out its not good for the community

Were all the other entries and exits blocked or closed down? As far as I can remember there is only one way except you build a road to Delices.
