Since its inception in 2013, the Lauren Reese Foundation has sent multiple shipments of baby supplies to the Commonwealth of Dominica.
In 2016, the Foundation sent its sixth shipment to benefit the Princess Margaret Hospital Maternity Ward. The shipment contained various baby supplies (diapers, wipes, baby wash, shampoo, lotion, diaper cream, onesies, caps, mittens, socks, receiving blankets, magazines) including 10 gift bags for ward patients and their newborns.
The Lauren Reese Foundation would like to acknowledge our continued partnership with the Princess Margaret Hospital and thank Head Nurse Karen Myler for her assistance identifying the needs of the Maternity Ward and coordinating the receipt and distribution of the supplies.
We’d also like to thank everyone that has contributed to our efforts throughout the years.
We appreciate your support, which enables us to assist the Maternity Ward on a continuous basis.
The Lauren Reese Foundation is a non-profit organization incorporated and registered in Delaware, USA.
I am so thankfull for people like these who are able to donate from their heart. Let us keep it simple and not discourage others who would read these comments. we are only hurting our people when such negative comments are made. If they stop sending our people suffer not the sender, they will just move to somewhere else who may not be credible like us. We do not live in a perfect world , we have all fallen from grace that why things happen. however the items are not lost they will be distributed fairly. It will go to a baby because the small clothes can only be used by babies who ever gets it. If you have a good suggestion use it on how to distribute the goods.Do not depend on hearsay.Pray for our country everyone is hurting,If one cant say good don’t say bad. God bless all our fellow Dominicans and I wish them a Happy and prosperous New Year under these trying times.
Thanks you and God blessing we greatly appreciate your support to new Mothers
God blessing
Great initiative !!!! Much needed focus on the Mothers and their babies !! Keep up the good work — Please DNO continue to publish such articles to keep us informed
nice but since 2013 and only now im hearing of this foundation such good deeds should be publicised like this all the time
This is a wonderful initiative. Thank you for your support. May God bless you and yours donors.
Good initiative, but we don’t have alot of honest people in Dominica…Some of these items will be making there way home with some dishonest n…ses figure out the word
You know that you are so dishonest thats why you are accusing the person of being so. Nurse Myler is a very honest person and you are very rude and disrespectful to accuse her of such sinful deeds. Anyway there is proof that it truthfully distributed on the ward and the patients can attest to it. So get your facts right before you speak.
This a a true blessing for new parents.
Thanks to the foundation for your thoughtfulness.
Great job
This kinds of services demonstrate the founding relationship between Government and the International World–regardless of who they are–thanks to You dear Lord
This partnership is not between the Government and the International World. Keep the politics aside.
Well I pray that the Government are allowing these charitable goods to come in without charging an arm and a leg.
Very nice
