Local telecommunication giant, LIME, is alerting customers of a scam message being sent on its network.
Senor Marketing and Communications Executive at LIME, Ferdina Frampton, told DNO on Wednesday that the company’s customers have been receiving a text message asking them to call a certain number urgently because “it is their lucky day.”
The message reads, “Dear Customer, today is your lucky day call now 006779680055 urgently.”
“LIME is not associated with this in any way and we want customers to disregard that message and not respond,” she said.
Frampton said alerts have been sent to customers via text and on Facebook.
