The female teachers at PCSS enjoying their surprise luncheon

Mothers and other female teachers at the Pierre Charles Secondary School (PCSS) got an early Mother’s Day treat on Friday courtesy of the male teachers of the institution.

They were served a surprise luncheon prepared by the men who worked feverishly behind the scene to make the event a memorable one.

A few words of appreciation were given and cards presented by the men.

At the end, a senior female staff member gave a very stirring vote of thanks on behalf of the female staff members.

The initiative was spearheaded by Julian Lloyd Benjamin and assisted by Irvin Jackson and the other male teachers of PCSS.

This is not the first time that the male staff members have recognised and appreciated the female teachers.

The female staff members were recognised in a similar way  last year for Mothers Day and earlier this year for International Women’s Day.

Mother’s Day will be observed in Dominica on Sunday.

to say such a thing about the missing mother it means that you do not know her and you should shut up. i will not tolerate you or any one to speak about my principal she is the best on the island.

sickness is not bought you should pray for her instead.

When one gives, he should not expect anything in return.

The Principal was there and apart of the activity only this photo does not show her table too clearly but if you look good towards the back of the group where the other photographer is standing you will see her with glass raised for the toast.

congratulations to the male teachers on this splenidid idea.happy mothers day to all the teachers who are mothers and to those who are not biological mothers but continue to mother our children at this institution. your task is big, but as ateam you can achieve more. i did not see the leading mother (the Principal) in the picture. her frequent absence for the past weeks is noticeable by many.if she is not well, i wish her god’s healing grace. if her illness does not warrannt that long period of absence, this can be considered neglect and lack of intereest in the welbeing of the students.i say to all of you who are doing your best, continue to do your best so you can experience peace in your heart.colossians3:15 states; let the peace of christ rule in your heart, since as members of on body you were called to peace.and be thankful.
    GOD BLESS YOU ALL
