Met Office issues notice on approach of weather system

The Dominica Meteorological Office in collaboration with the Office of Disaster Management continues to monitor an area of low pressure located about 1000 miles east south east of Dominica and the Windward Islands.

This system is expected in our area by late Friday into Saturday.

There is a strong possibility that this system could become a Tropical Depression or Storm by the time it approaches the islands of the Lesser Antilles.

Residents are advised to continue to monitor the progress/development of this system and begin to take all precautionary measures in preparation for the arrival of this system.

Updated information is available at www.weather.gov.dm, www.odm.gov.dm and the weather hotline at 447 5555.

It’s so unpredictable that everyone is so worried about the forces of nature and they should but they dont have any control over but what they have control off which are those things that are happening in DOMINICA by those who pretend they care people refuse to speak out of fair those men are distroying our Dominica and it’s people we all should start speaking out.
And no matter what GOD is the one that control the wind maybe we should ask ourselves is he disapointed in us.

God is in control and we Dominicans are God fearing people. By the grace of the Almighty God we will overcome this one like all others. I pray that the Almighty will calm the seas, and winds and that everything will be normal this hurricane season for all of us. Amen

if a hurricane hits any country , there MUST be damage. so talk all the togetherness nonsense that you like. I don’t see why you need a bloody storm to generate togetherness. when insurance not enough for house and building , let togetherness resolve that one for you.

Darling stop reliving the merciful episode of hurricane David, all hurricanes are not the same. There was a good time after Huricane David, brogodow, ration, assistance from every where, and thank God no communicable diseases. But this time, in those days we are living, things could get worse. So don’t get excited when you hear a storm is coming.
