“Transitioning from one Toastmasters year to another gives us the opportunity to look back at what we have done and see how we can improve going forward. Our challenge is not to accept mediocrity but to strive to truly become the best communicators and leaders that we can be”, says Dorothy Jno Baptiste CC, ALB – Immediate Past President of Nature Isle Toastmasters Club.

After chartering with 22 members on June 26th 2013, the Nature Isle Toastmasters Club celebrated 2 years of growth at the Sunset Terrace at the Fort Young Hotel on June 27th 2015. The evening was one which saw the installation and pinning of the incoming Executive Members and ended with Awards being given to deserving Toastmasters.

“As President, I task each of us to become an ambassador for the English language, an ambassador for professionalism, an ambassador for effective public speaking. Let us all be the guiding light to the misguided and misinformed. Let us all show our peers that there is much to be attained. Everyone, take up your mantle and lead others by your actions. There should be no need to say that you are a toastmaster, no need to show your pin to indicate that you are a toastmaster. All I ask is that by your actions, others will see that you are a toastmaster,” says Brenton Hilaire, Incoming President of Nature Isle Toastmasters Club.

Officers installed and pinned at the ceremony to serve on the Executive for the period July 1st 2015- June 30th 2016 were as follows:
