I am very glad to see scouting is still alive and kicking, I wish more young persons would get involved. The composition of the executive is very interesting.
    Best wishes.

I note Mr. Sammy Wyke as the new President of the D/CA Scouts Association.
However, and if my memory serves me right, according to the association’s constitution, a scout leader cannot hold the post of president of the association, but he can be chief commissioner.
Therefore Mr. Wyke being leader of the St. Alphonsus Scout troop, he might have to either give up the leadership of his troop, or the president of the scouts association.

The constitution has taken several revisions and is currently under review for the betterment of the entire movement. I guess they’ll update the general public on any revisions that is to come.

I’m just thankful that new life is being feed into the movement as those who have been there before have slowly watched it almost die.

As an old scouter, I’ll now make my services available to the movement again.
