    DNO

Thanks for those lovely photos. Well done. However, others would have loved to see all the awardees receiving their medals from the President. It would be fair to everyone else. Can you put the others?

    Thanks

Nice photos but some prominent receipents are missing Why is this. People overseas need to see all who received. You have three or two of one photo, where are the others.

Happy 34th independence anniversary to all my fellow Dominicans. Forget about the chest thumping and let’s tie our waists to work hard together to build a stronger and more prosperous Dominica for all its citizens.

    One Love!! Jah Bless!!

PS: Very interesting and creative formations by the officers. I wish that the pictures had captions to go along with them. Thanks for the pictures anyway!

I was disappointed with the organizers. They formed a shape of Europe, and the Caribbean sea. What ever happened to Africa? Is that not where we came from? Am I mistaken?

Africa is for the African’s. We all know where our ancesters are from but as for now we are Caribbean the African’s no longer see us as African’s but Caribbean’s.

was very impressed with the independence parade and speeches, my only beef is that not enough women are being honoured, we have lots of beautiful hard working and dedicated women in DA. Pls lets see a change next year.More women please…

Lovely photos I wish I was there to enjoy the independence celebrations. I must say that the photos were not in the right order, the officers were spelling out Dominica.

We Dominicans must try to come together and participate in these events more to make it more memorable for the future generations.

@TOIL That’s the most stupidest reason I have ever heard. You’re not going home because it rains? hehehehehehe I hope you’re aware that Dominica has a tropical climate because it’s the the tropics. It will rain and will do so at anytime.
