what is in Greece ? the Oil tankers registered to Dominica with the Dominican Flags.

Let hope they where not used to transport Oil to bypass the US sanction on Iran….This is HOT STUFF

Note: The proximity Greece to Malaysia where Mr. Monfared operated his business.

Was not Mr. Monfared arrested for Oil scam to evade UN sanction against Iran?

Those who are smarter sowing discord and strife and leading the rest in strife. You thoze who think you know better time to educate those who are less educated. You all are overseas and have no suggestions for development except negative , condemn everything and sow lies, and mislead those who are in your opinion gullible and ignorant. You will answer for your misdeeds of misleading, sowing discord and strife, telling fables, stories without proof, making sensations etc, unpatriotic and foul mouthing and cursing over the country Dominica. Time to use your mouths to suggest and be pisitives, giving Godly advises for the betterment of all. If the country sinks, we all sink. Please takenote. God bless Dominica.

18 million given to a bajan company for a bridge without tendering. Is’nt it strange? You want more facts?
The villas seems not being able to finish. You want more facts. In 2014 skerrit came down with a brief case suggesting that he is going to build the international airport. Liar!! You want more facts? The geothermal according to parliament meeting should been producing energy since 2013. Liar!! You want more facts?
The arbatoire should have been in operation since 2013. It has not produce not even a pound of beef. You want more facts? where in gods earth can a party use up 33 million to win n election. Is it contributions from party members, CBI money or money from diplomats? A country so broke and cannot afford to pay its civil servants 2% increase yet is leaders have so much to spend otherwise. Don’t you find it strange. Give it some deep thinking!! God bless the wise !!

Greece is even poorer than Dominica. What does the PM expect to get there did he not see that Greece was just bail out and given a second chance? We will be waiting to hear the outcome of the ” working visit”. Maybe begging people to buy passports ASAP.

But what is wrong with you all people viewsexpressed??? Do you understand or really know the role of a PM or even a lesser degree persons who are in administrative positions…. Managers. …. things do not always be locally … lord have mercy on you all.. for you do not understand anything about the roles and responsibilities of certain positions etc. Countries pay for the expertise of those in our midst that we do not discern etc. That is why Pastors, preachers, managers with certain skills are invited to strengthen their areas that those persons are strong in. This is also so for PM’s of certain countries. There are also organization who fund the travel and expenses. Time you and others stop speaking and start Reading about things you are not versed in. Ask questions so you can learn and be matured. Toomuch politics in everything. Too much sowing of strife. Toomuch sensation and experts in matters that many of you do not understand.

    January 26, 2017

I suspect most of the PM’s travel have followed the old adage of ‘making hay while the sun shines’.
Whatever opportunities he has sought on these travels have clearly had a primary focus of personal enrichment. I say this because results have been far more beneficial to the personal wealth of his band of crooks rather than the people of Dominica.

They will continually follow a pattern of financial prostitution by cosying up to rich crooks in pursuit of some clandestine means of gaining wealth.

Face the facts Dominicans, our leaders are money grabbing prostitutes who offer services to a certain type of clientele..

Dominica has a Consul there, Christos Vardikos who is also a business partner of Lennox Lawrence and they are both authorised passport vendors and share addresses. I don’t think the visit has anything to do with offical business beween Greece and Dominica. Don’t forget that Vardikos is also a special (financial) advisor to Skerrit.

  40. Free Thinker
    January 25, 2017

    Really? How convenient!!

  41. What is the purpose of his visit, what will he accomplish?

Here is a brief, and this is public information:

Greece has been hit hard with recession and the austerity measures that have been put in place and poverty has increased. Those living in extreme poverty rose to 15% in 2015, up from 8.9% in 2011, and a huge increase from 2009 when it wasn’t more than 2.2%.[196] Those people at risk for poverty or social exclusion was one in three or 35.7%.[197] The rate among children 0-17 is 17.6% and for young people 18-29 the rate is 24.4%.[196] With unemployment on the rise, those without jobs are at the highest risk at 70-75%, up from less than 50% in 2011.[196] With jobs harder and harder to come by, a quarter of the population is out of work, and for people under 25 the rate is 50%. In some harder hit areas of western Greece.

    • Continue:

The younger generation unemployment rate is more than 60%. When people are out of work for more than two years, they lose their health insurance, further increasing the problems of those in poverty.

When younger people are out of work, they rely on the older generations of their families to provide for them to get them through the hard times. However, long term unemployment across the country causes pension funds to decrease because they are getting less money from the working population, so those older generations are getting less money to provide for the younger generations and their entire families, putting more of them in poverty.

Many aspects of the economic problems add to the problem. The Greek people have continued job loss and wage cuts, as well as deep cuts in workers compensation and social welfare benefits. For those who are working, their wages have dropped.

    • Finally:

From 2008 to 2013, Greeks have become 40% poorer on average, and in 2014 saw their disposable household income drop below 2003 levels.[198]

The Economic Survey of Greece 2016 shows optimism in a stronger recovery in 2017 by using things like the reforms in place and outside investment in jobs to help change the course of the high levels of poverty.

I suppose if me Mountain Chicken Carpaud (crapo) Mentality Almost Nearly Cousin Sly Eye Sir Knight Indian doctor of nothing Roosevelt Skerrit; gone to Greece looking for handouts he his looking in the wrong place, he shall return with nothing, unless he manage to sell some diplomatic passports eh!

      Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

I doh know what we going do with that boy half balled head Skerrit! No other Prime Minister in the Caribbean travel like Skerrit, yet Dominica is the poorest in the Carribean.
