Posting of Permanent Secretaries and acting appointment to vacant positions

Effective Wednesday, February 01, 2017 the following postings and acting appointment will take place at the level of Permanent Secretaries/Heads of Departments.

The changes are in an effort to create an atmosphere conducive to increased productivity across the public service and come after a series of discussions of the Committee of Permanent Secretaries recently.

The changes are as follows:

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health and Environment
Mr. Davis Letang

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Social Services, Family and Gender Affairs
Mrs. Helen Royer

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Urban Renewal
Ms. Careen Prevost

Permanent Secretary (Ag), Office of the Prime Minister
Dr. Gerard Jean Jacques

Permanent Secretary (Ag), Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development
Mrs. Chandler Hyacinth

Permanent Secretary (Ag), Ministry of Public Works and Ports
Ms. Denise Edwards

Permanent Secretary (Ag) Ministry of Justice, Immigration and Labour
Ms. Jo-Anne Commodore
