Candidates contesting the Good Hope Village Council Elections will participate in a pre-election forum this weekend.
The forum will take the format of a town hall meeting and is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, at 4 p.m. at the Good Hope Resource Center.
Organizers say the 15 candidates will be given the opportunity to present their plans and programmes and engage voters in discussion about issues affecting the community’s development.
Each candidate will make a presentation of five (5) minutes, following which members of the audience will have the option to ask questions of the candidates.
Transportation arrangements are being made for registered voters living in Roseau and environs who wish to attend the forum.
Voters go to the polls on Monday, December 14 to elect a new village council for Good Hope.
Make sure you elect Labourites for good representation of your community. Do not be like Marigot or Salisbury. Just kidding! We all know Good Hope people are good and faithful Labourites. Good luck to all the candidates.
