US Presidential candidate was implicated in failed white supremacist invasion of Dominica

Republican presidential contender Ron Paul

In 1981, a lawyer tried to subpoena Ron Paul to testify in the trial of Don Black, a Grand Wizard for the Ku Klux Klan who would later go on to found the white supremacist, neo-Nazi website, Stormfront.

Black was charged along with two other Klansmen with planning to violently overthrow the small Caribbean country of Dominica in what they called “Operation Red Dog.”

While a judge refused to subpoena Paul, Don Black would come back to haunt him many years later.

Shame on Ron Paul. He does not represent the Republican party of the United States. He is a Libertarian and should run as a Libertarian. Not only that, but I was shocked reading his newsletters by how disgusting and racist he is…Now this disgraceful plot. Don’t worry, Dominica. Most of the U.S. will not vote for this man and respects your sovereignty. I don’t plan on voting for Obama, either, who has also been a terrible president. Hopefully, common sense will deliver us a worthy candidate in the end. :-?

They do not respect your sovereignty Dominicans the ONLY reason they won’t vote for him is because he doesn’t have the adequate amount of money to compete with his opponents and their campaigns, and he APPEARS to be in favor of black/minority concerns. He is playing both sides of the table.

For those who support Ron Paul, a question. Do you know the source of his philosophy, Ayn Rand? He is a true follower of hers, even named his son after her. That woman was psychotically insane, she was paranoid and grandiose and truly believed that the few white people would rise up and take over all power and run everything. She believed this was right. We can all support freedom, however freedom as seen by the Randians is a form of tyranny. In the end, in their worldview, freedom just happens also to mean that those who are free to take over power, to accumulate all the wealth and control for themselves is just how it should be. Freedom without the balancing value of equality is fascism. A healthy society must embrace both values even though they seem contradictory on the surface. Liberty and justice for all, means just that, freedom and equality for all. These people are insane, do not be taken in by this guy who seems this kind of nice, maybe even a bit confused in his demeanor. Underneath it is overt racism and classism. Don’t believe me, just do some research on Ayn Rand, the source of Paul’s beliefs. Kind Regards.

The timing of such an “exposé” is not surprising. Dr. Paul continues to demonstrate that his message of Constitutional governance, sound money and a sane foreign policy is gaining traction and becoming increasingly embraced. The fact that such a story would come out at this stage of the process is indicative of how popular and “electable” he really is.

I, for one, will not buy into this obvious attempt to marginalize Dr. Paul. He’s not perfect, for sure, but I believe he is likely to be the only President, out of this god-awful mix of wannabes, who has the knowledge and guts to turn things around for the United States and make a positive impact on the rest of the world through his foreign policy.

Paul also wrote that although “we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.”
Not enough yet? How about Paul’s suggestion that the age of adulthood for criminal prosecution be lowered — for blacks?
He added, “We don’t think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That’s true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such.”

Taken from Hot Air: “Can Ron Paul Win” by Morrissey.

Constitutional governance? Oh, like a return to the origins of that document? The one that enshrined slavery? The one that said only land-owning white males could vote? The one that set up a system in which a very few had access to resources, the one in which child labor was acceptable, the one in which people did not have equal rights to be full members of society? No thank you, I’ll take the version that has evolved since then, and keep pushing for further changes to make it become the basis for human rights and social justice.

If you people understood Dominica history you would know that all ths is the work of those who are keen on keeping black people in subserviance. But sadly you all listen to propaganda dont research and are quick to judge one another. PJ took Dominica to indepedence, Eugenia Charles and freedom used the school boys to bring him down, they kll Julius Timothy and blame PJ.PJ was in jail when the coup was planned and took place, it was all a plot by Reagan the CIA to put Eugenia in power as she was the USA stooge, it allow the USA to take over the caribbean and distroy our coconut ndustry and our banana industry. Now we have nothing.

      To Law and order

It is so sad reading your comment with all these scenarios, inaccuracy of facts and blame I wonder if you are the one who doesn’t know your history when referring to Dominicans don’t know their history,
how more ignorant can you be .You mention the name Julius Timothy that was killed, I assume that you were referring to Phillip Timothy he was shoot dead outside the Ministry May 29 by Defense Force who opened fire on demonstrators protesting two controversial bills brought to the House of Assembly by the Labor Party headed by Patrick John.

Your mention about Patrick John was in jail
when the coup was planned how silly can you be. The story you are commenting on regarding the coup planned by the KKK, white supremacist took place before Patrick John went to jail.As to you blaming CIA,Regan and Eugenia Charles this sounds typical anti American rhetoric with no substance.

Finally you mention about research and propaganda i do not think you understand what either of these words mean.Oh, this i will tell you about blame, is just a lazy person’s way of making sense of chaos.

The bible declares that we should pray for all those in authority.Today i pray for our Prime Minister and Members of Parliament. I pray for our Leader of Opposition and the Members of the opposition. May those who are called to serve, do so with honesty and integrity,be it politician, pastor priest, public or private officers, self employed, farmers, fishermen. May the youths of this nation be known as the chosen generation of god.May they be blessed. may we Dominicans not only sing”Dominica, a people full of Godly reverential fear, but that we may walk in the fear of the Lord, for the fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom.” God bless Dominica, God Bless Witikubuli, Bon Dieu Benie Dominique. Thank you DNO for publishing the story. While Ron Paul has to answer to the US Electorates, it us up to those of us living and voting in DA to look now at the “ADVISERS” of our Political Parties/Persons. The name of our First Prime Minister is clearly mentioned in this article,a story which is certainly hindering the chances of an American Politician to even take part in a PRIMARY ELECTION yet our Political Parties/Persons will request advise from Mr John, even after this issue which he did serve time for, one would have thought he learnt his lesson??? haha Now its a FIFA one, come on, we are so much smarter than that !!!!!!

Racism is written all over Ron Paul. They are hoping to reenslave black people in America, this is why all of them are so desperate to get Obama out, but God is bigger than all of that.

Ron Paul will not win the Republican candidacy, but he should be watched very closely.

  35. Sout Man
    January 21, 2012

It is ironic that this article has surfaced at a time that the digraced former Prime Minister who spent 12 years in prison for his role in the plot to overthrow the government of Dame Eugenia Charles, has now become an advisor and spokesman for the opposition UWP. Ron Paul’s news letter has already highlighted his anti-Martin Luther King Jr venom and deep hatred for ‘Black People’. But it’s really embarrassing to see the extent the disgraced politicians will go to subvert popular and democratic governments.

Cuban “patriots” (read: mercenaries) were organized and trained to invade Cuba in 1961. Michael Manley was sabotaged in the 70’s. The KKK used the disgraced PM of Dominica in the 80’s. Haiti has had coups and counter coups in the 90’s. Now the “Patriots” are plotting and waiting in DC to swoop on DA at the appropriate time. The UWP is energized and reorganized and the disgraced former PM, Patrick Roland John, has resurfaced as an advisor to the opposition.

Our government has to be watchful and strengthen its faith in the masses. Be transparent in deeds and fight as hell to create jobs for the people. Otherwise, 18-3 can quickly become 8-13 in defeat. I’ve analysed the stats. You cannot be conceited in politics. Over $250 million in investments have yielded too few jobs for Dominicans. Truckers have been shut out. Local contractors are shut out. Scandals are rampant. DLP needs to shake up or else Labour ‘fini bat’.

    • Sout Man

I’ve noticed that the “new folks” at DNO do not tolerate strong political views, even if they are factual and historical. They accept so much ‘mapuis’ and insults, but they tread on egg shells when it comes to ‘radical’ politics. Lighten up man. There is no threat to your petty capitalist venture. Facilitate the free flow of ideas; if that’s your mission and release my comment posted since 1/21/2012.

You bury so many comments over the weekend when traffic is very busy on this site and they all show up for a few minutes on Mondays. You do not seem to appreciate our comments. Dominicans are not stupid? we know ‘attitude’ when we see it.

This is one of the reasons i continiously
say that the best and most improvement that has ever happen in Dominica is under this
administration. You may not agree with all his
policies but we are indeed making strides.
I remember growing up and hearing about this plot, did not believe it.and here it is today
Happy i live to read about it. This is why
I am so pessimistic about these guys who
call themselves “Patriots” and their allies

What would Dominica be if this coup had taken place. and guess who is giving advice to the oppisiton now. Hon Patrick John
