The Royal Fleet Auxiliary WAVE KNIGHT will arrive at Roseau Dominica 5 September for a 3-day visit during her deployment to the region on Atlantic Patrol Tasking North.

This is a year-round commitment by the British Government to the region in support of Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) and Counter Narcotics Operations.

During WAVE KNIGHT’s visit to Dominica, the Commanding Officer Captain Nigel Budd will pay courtesy calls on the President His Excellency Charles Savarin and the Prime Minister Hon Roosevelt Skerrit accompanied by Acting British High Commissioner Colin Dick.

The Commanding Officer with the ship’s company will host a reception and luncheon on board and will entertain sea scouts and cadets on a tour of the ship. Members of the crew will assist with painting and maintenance at the Goodwill Primary School.

The visit of RFA WAVE KNIGHT marks one year since Tropical Storm Erika, when sister ship RFA LYME BAY was able to offer extensive humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of the storm. RFA WAVE KNIGHT has on board Humanitarian and Disaster Relief stores and is ready to support relief operations in the region.

Speaking of the visit Captain Nigel Budd commented: “My ship’s company and I are very much looking forward to the visit and to forging relationships with the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica.”

RFA WAVE KNIGHT is a 31,500 tonne fast fleet tanker with the ability to refuel other naval vessels at sea.

The good news is, there is nothing you can say or do to upset them, they will remain calm but, over a cup of tea, they will have a good laugh and remarks, this bunch did not attended our colleges. In DOMINICAN language!one bad sheep can spoil the whole flock. In theIr language, that one bad sheep must be brought up to standard because we need each and everyone

Well, I suspect Skerrit, and Savarin, and the rest of Skerrit’s hungry belly men, and women in his cabalists, are over-joy they are going to get some free paint.

Nevertheless, at the moment they all a nervous wreck, anxious for the free food and, alcohol they anticipate. I know some of them will embarrass themselves, they do not know how to eat with knife and fork eh! Some of them will holler-out way de spoon ne!

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

We know Skerrit like to cut cake as he did in Macao; I hear de man plan to take along a knife from home, to cut his cake, if see no cake de man plan to scream wa-de-cake oui!

Your hard work pays off and it don’t come any better or higher as you call.well done skerrit

    • When you say “well done Skerrit” what are you talking about?

If in almost twenty years, Skerrit is in power and all we see represents his very best, his worst may have caused a volcano eruption on the island. My question to you is this, have you ever traveled out of Dominica, to the two closet islands to Dominica: “Martinique and Guadeloupe?”

If you are capable to understand progress, and the standard of living, the architecture of buildings, infrastructure ect, ect, you would draw the conclusion that Skerrit is nothing more than an obstacle in your personal life, he keeps Dominica Backward in order to afford him the opportunity at every five years to throw some free food, building materials, and a slogan in your face, which gives you false hope that there are better things to come.

Here are two of his lying slogans “I am going to take Dominica to the next level.” Five years later, he returns with same ridiculous rhetoric ” I am going to transform Dominica.” What is…

    • What is the difference of meaning? Both sentence means the same thing! But you see that’s what he does; he cons you all into believing that he is performing wonder, while poverty overwhelm you. He is a simple example of backwardness, and poverty in the country.

I wired some money to someone in Dominica, a small amount I consider peanut change, when the person went to a so called business place who should deliver the money which I sent via Money Gram, they were told that the business place did not have enough money to cover the amount of money that was due!

An Antiguan married to a Dominican told me his wife took him to Dominica to visit, they went into a place and bought something, he handed a (EC$100.00) dollar bill to pay, only to be told the proprietor had no change for a hundred dollar bill. We are actually in the twenty-second century, and then Skerrit has the nerve to “Money is no problem in reference to the relocation of Petite Savanne residence? Wake up okay!

This is a perfect time to stage a peaceful protest against our corrupt government because there is no way Skerrit will send his armed forces to frighten us, knowing The Royal Fleet Auxiliary WAVE KNIGHT will be there and he will not want them to see him use tear gas on his people like he did in salsbury. WE need the 1 million man match now!!!

    • I was informed that Dominica English is different to Cambridge English which is standard English, I can imagine the laugh of the British when English teacher Mr. god Skerrit, the man who majored in English, however, was awarded a PhD in psychology when he did not graduate eh!

Then again we have the Portsmouth Yankee in the person of El Presidente, that long street of misery Savarin, who has an accent of his own which he brought back from Belgium; I never heard anything like that on this planet; nevertheless, he too was a teacher you know; who was fired from the class room in the 1960’s by this same Labor Party, because he could not teach, the man did not know what he was doing.

The alternative was; they placed him in none-functional position at PWD where he had no responsibility, without anything to do. That was his motive for instigating the forty days, and forty nights of civil war in the country, in the rioting life’s were lost, today children in our country salutes the…

Today children in our country salutes the man who’s actions set Dominica back, more than two hundred years! How soon people forget, we should never forget the man was rejected by the people, he could never ever get elected by the people because he is remembered by some of us for what he is!

The late Rosie Douglas, pulled him into the coalition to help him siege power from the UWP; though unelectable; god Skerrit once again walked him through the backdoor against the will of the people, giving him a ministry , and ultimately crowning him King, Emperor, or President of the country, it depends on how we view the position he holds.

It appears as if we salute, and honor people who commits treason in our country, the more damage they do to the country the greater is their honor, Skerrit has an Ax chopping up Dominica everyday, people complain, but by the time election comes; and he give them some free food, they forget his damage, and vote for him again!

You are RIGHT all around. That is the truth. Satan kingdom must fall like the walls of Jericho. Though thought to be strong and tall; yet, it came crashing down. Same as some fools said that their Titanic was un-sinkable. It became un-floatable by the power of the Almighty. God has His time in everything. We may be in a hurry to see the end of this regime – But as Solomon said, \”There is a time and season for everything under heaven. Their walls will come down and many will cry; because they will miss their bread and cheese.
