Tropical Depression Two has formed in the central Atlantic and is now heading to the Caribbean.
The National Hurricane Center is now issuing advisories on the new depression, which will be in our area by Thursday, according to the Met Office.
At 5:00 am on Tuesday the system was located a latitude 12.2 North and 46.4 West or about 1,025 miles east of the Lesser Antilles.
Maximum sustained winds were 35 mile per hour and is moving westwards at 16 miles per hour.
DNO will continue to monitor this weather system and provide information as provided by the Met Office.
