UN experts say US owes blacks reparations for slavery

GENEVA, Switzerland, October 5:– CARICOM’s call for Reparations from Britain and Europe for Slavery and Native genocide got a boost this week after a United Nations (UN) panel of experts United Nations experts said the United States should give African Americans reparations for slavery.

In the heat of a US presidential election campaign in which racial rhetoric is growing louder, the Geneva-based UN Working Group on People of African Descent warned that the USA had not yet confronted its legacy of “racial terrorism” and that Americans of African descent were facing a “human rights crisis”.

The UN Working Group said in a statement to the press in Geneva last week that this “human rights crisis” in the US “has largely been fuelled by impunity for police officers who have killed a series of black men — many of them unarmed – across the country in recent months.”

The group said in a September 27 statement that those killings “and the trauma they create, are reminiscent of the past racial terror of lynchings,” in the report, which was presented to the United Nations Human Rights Council on Monday.

Addressing the deeper causes of America’s racial tensions, the experts voiced concern over the unresolved “legacy of colonial history, enslavement, racial subordination and segregation, racial terrorism and racial inequality”.

“There has been no real commitment to reparations and to truth and reconciliation for people of African descent,” the report said.

Working group chairman Ricardo A Sunga told reporters in Geneva that the panel believed several models of reparations could work in the US context, including “elements of apology” and a form of “debt relief” to the descendants of enslaved people.

The UN working group visited the several US states in January before producing their final report, which is expected to be widely welcomed by CARICOM, which is itself pursuing Reparations from Britain and other EU member-states that benefitted from Slavery in the Caribbean.

The US Congressional Black Caucus has been liaising with the CARICOM Reparations Commission (CRC) with a view to adopting the CARICOM template to officially demand Reparations on Capitol Hill in Washington.

CRC Chairman Sir Hilary Beckles also last year addressed the British House of Commons, ahead of his exchange with the US Black Caucus regarding their Reparations plans for Americans of African Descent.

Sir Hilary more recently visited Africa to explain the CARICOM Reparations approach, meeting with officials of The Gambia and the African Union (AU).

The UN Working Group’s Report is expected to be welcomed by the CARICOM Secretariat, the CRC and National Reparations Committees (NRCs) in 12 CARICOM member-states.

  2. JB, Attorney at Law -Caribs Lands Must be Repatriated
    October 10, 2016

ALL LAND IN DOMINICA BELONGS TO THE CARIBS AND MUST BE REPATRIATED.

The Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle of 1748 gave Britain and France temporary control of the Lesser Antilles as a result of the Caribs in Dominica refusing to be their slaves. This treaty was violated first by the French and later by the British when both refused to return ownership of the islands’s lands to their rightful owners who they had forcibly driven out.

In true imperialist style, they sought to populate the islands with their slaves who they had intended to fill the gap left by the Caribs. These slaves upon their emancipation took over the impugned land unlawfully.

I will be asking Leslie Thomas QC to contact the Dominica Carib Chief to get his go ahead to commence proceedings against the government of Dominica to revoke all laws that have criminally permitted the granting of Carib lands to visitors (our forebears and to pass laws to force the occupiers of Carib lands to repatriate the lands.

You are part of the reparations being sought, it has been taken up with the Europeans, just keep the pressure up so you are not forgotten. You are not going to return to South America, Jews are not going to return to Germany or whence they came from, African descendants are not going to return to Africa, you ketch my drift? Just keep the pressure up to continue to be part of the reparations.

Two words for all the nea Sayers: The Jews.
Reparations were promised to them even as part of a deal to end a world war. The world knew these people would be nothing if Reparations are not done. And Reparations continue today as promised, and as we speak fortunes continue to be discovered in every nook and cranny of this earth to satisfy the Reparations. The Jews have never play around and argue among themselves about it. They are super-organized in finding and fulfilling Reparations for what was done to them. I can understand that each of you would like to be ‘The One’ receiving it, ‘you’ or nothing at all for the collective, but it doesn’t work that way. Every Indian cannot be chief.
So Fransisco and the Rev hill girl or guy, shut the h up and give DNO at least a little break , there are others who would like to make intelligent comments for DNO readers to be enlightened by.

Jews are the followers of Baal. In their Talmud, they say that Jesus Christ was the son of a prostitute. They say he was a magician and an idolaterer.. They proudly boast that they pressured the Romans to kill him and would have killed him if the Romans had not done so.

The bible says that if you reject Christ, you reject God. The Jews do NOT believe that Jesus was the son of God. They had been banned from the promised land by God as they had insisted on worshiping pagan gods.

The jews are the biblical followers of satan and are the enemy of humanity.

      Here is how slavery works:-

      1) you get a person and tell them that you will guarantee their employment provided they toe the line
      2) in return for that, you will feed them and their family and give a place to live paid for by deductions from their wages
      3) they will be entitled to medical treatment as paid from their wages and from time to time will get paid holidays
      4) when they get to around 65, they will need to find their own place to live and will lose their job and benefits associated with it. But, they will get a free pension which is not sufficient for them to live on.

      Sounds familiar?

The UN is based in the USA and both are controlled by the globalists whose sole purpose is to enslave us all and in the end, following the wishes of their master, Satan, destroy us all.

No surprise that the MSM media, 100% owned by the globalists, now focus on injustices against blacks in the USA by white policemen. No focus on the fact that the US’s president is black, its Attorney General is black and a very high number of blacks are in powerful positions in the government are too. Black on white violence is hugely suppressed now.

The globalist’s mantra? Order out of Chaos:-

Migrant crisis in Europe creates hatred against Muslims
Creation of ISIS and AL Q by the USA moves the world too in that direction
Focus whites injustices against blacks fuels racial tension and violence
Past injustices by whites upon blacks (eg., the slave trade) ? Wow!

All the above programs are driving the same goal, full implementation of the UN’s Agenda 21’s – world government/ world…

..martial law. You should understand how the globalist’s Order out of Chaos/ Problem, Reaction, Solution methods works. Take the black injustice thing:-

      a) there is a brand new film out on Netflix now talking about how things are stacked against blacks in the USA;
      b) MSM publicity is given to white policemen killing, or treating blacks very badly (be careful that many of such instances may well be troll/ false flag jobs);
      c) MSM publicity given to the policemen getting off scot free with their bad behaviour (and Obama doing nothing about that);
      d) people’s reaction? ‘Black Lives Matter’, a major false flag organisation planned by the globalists to fuel white/ black disharmony;
      e) increased tensions between the white/ black communities in the USA and eventually riots and civil war;
f)) the solution of the globalists? Implementation of martial law and the suspension of the US presidential elections with Obama becoming the first resident dictator of the USA.

      May God help…

Please wake up and stop calling reparations handouts.

Black people werent paid for any work during slavery, nor compensated for the abuses incurred. However, the slavers and their descendants were including the former British Prime Minister David Cameron.

On his only trip to the region, the highlight of which was giving Jamaica £30 million for a prision, he did not want to address the subject. He and his ancestors already got paid at the expense of dead black Africans yet we try to hide our faces from this.

    Wake up please…

    Quote (from Wikipedia):
In 1825, France, with warships at the ready, demanded Haiti compensate France for its loss of men and slave colony. In exchange for French recognition of Haiti as a sovereign republic, France demanded payment of 150 million francs (modern equivalent of $21 billion)….

Yet somehow we will argue that black people should get nothing in return by reducing compensation claims for forced labour, slavery and extreme brutality to terms such as handouts. So it is OK for France to demand Haitians pay them for the audacity of freeing themselves but some of us think getting some return for the past exploitation of our ancestors is wrong? Some cited the Native Americans as a negative result of this but somehow forgot to mention the wealth and power of Israel by the same means.

Does the brainwashing effect of slavery means that some can no longer see the woods because of all the trees?

  8. Attention: Mr. Hill; the following will draw to your attention that slavery was institutionalize on the continent of America, and also in South America, and the Caribbean. I draw to your attention the three-fifth compromise, and though it is not stated clear here: the 3/5 constitutional theory indicated that a black person is only 3/5 of a white person, in that reality it takes three black people to make one white person!
    Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
There is a history book called “American Government Second Edition by Lowi & Ginsberg if you can get hold of that and read it you would come to the realization that slaver was actually governmental institutionalized.

Aside from being a complex system and method for calculating the population through the census and then establishing a number of seats for representation, the issue as to who was eligible to be counted for the population was a topic of controversy. However, it is no surprise that this agreement is known as the Three-Fifths Compromise, for the Constitution itself was born out of compromise between the Framers of the Constitution.

However, the Three-Fifths Compromise is arguably the most controversial topic, for it delegates that all slaves of a particular state are to be counted as three-fifths of a white person. The population of slaves would be counted as three-fifths in total when apportioning Representatives, as well as Presidential electors and taxes.

The Three-Fifths Compromise was proposed by James Wilson and Roger Sherman, who were both delegates for the Constitutional Convention of 1787. However, the Three-Fifth Compromise has its roots further back in…

    • Finally; however, the Three-Fifth Compromise has its roots further back in history, dating back to the Continental Congress in 1783. The Compromise was a result of the apportionment of taxes being related to land values.
Initially, taxes were levied not in accordance to the population numbers, but the actual value of the land.

      Fransico:

      Thank you for the information.

I had no idea that there was such diabolical doctrine driving the “institution” of slavery.

“it takes three black people to make one white person!” I never heard this is school. I don’t think anybody in Canada knows this. (Just joking.) Honestly, I can’t believe anybody would be so stupid.

But look at the nations today. The decisions and choices they make convinces me they are capable of thinking and believing anything. This happens when they turn away from God by rejecting the light of His word. Their minds become darkened. They become the victims of their own imaginations driven by hate, greed and lust.

It’s interesting to see how Rev. Hill steer this conversation into a discussion on Christianity. Ironically the same Christianity, purporting the image of a White supreme being, was very instrumental to the perpetuation of the slave trade…what’s worse is even now 2016, Black people can’t shake this White Jesus from their heads..It’s a purposeful conditioning of the black man’s mind. Keep them calm and looking for celestial blessings so that they’re not inclined to revolt or dare to make their claim here on earth.
I think black people should have an opportunity to make their claim simple and plain. I don’t think that Blacks should wait on reparations to do anything for themselves but clearly, slavery was a terrible tragedy for Humanity and the Black man and his descendants still can’t think straight because of it..see the link below for undeniable truth about the Bible and Slavery..

    • October 8, 2016

My friend, there is nothing in the Bible that supports anything that resembles the slavery of Black people we talk about here.

The law God gave Moses in the Old Testament was (a) for one nation and that was Israel. (b) It was for a limited period in their history between Mt. Sinai and Mt. Calvary. It was abolished when Christ was crucified. John 19:30. Romans 10:4. Colossians 2:14-17.

This law contained a provision for a different type of “slavery” with checks and balances that limited the length of time a slave could be “owned” and prevented abuse.

Slavery existed in New Testament times among Romans and Greeks so it was legal. In the beginning of the Christian era some Christians owned slaves. It was the teaching of St. Paul the Apostle that led to the practice being phased out among Christians.

    October 6, 2016

Apart from the obvious observation that the enslavement of fellow humans is vile I hold to two principles when it comes to the payment reparation:

    – no one should be held to account for crimes committed by his father, or a third party.
    – nobody should be the beneficiary of the misery and deprivation suffered by a fellow man.

It is for the reason that I have always opposed the reparations paid by Germany to Israel for example. The real victims are mostly dead and the beneficiaries may be some zealous fanatic, who may not even have been born in Israel or any of the countries, where the appalling holocaust took place., leave alone have any direct relationship with any of the victims.
I do not believe in the idea of collective guilt or punishment. We are individually responsible for our deeds

    • October 8, 2016

      Titiwi:

      This is well articulated.

The suggestion for reparation is intended to appeal to people who will think they could benefit financially and the ball would be carried by such people. For the most part it would not be Black people who have studied, worked, and succeeded in the world.

This is being put forward by organizations pretending to be working in the best interest of the Caribbean nations and people. Careful! Those who do not think they have been treated right – those who see themselves as ripped off and oppressed – are vulnerable. Dictators rise to power by taking advantage
of such people to gain a following.

People should ask “What has he done for us?” and “What does he really want?”

      Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.

  12. “CARICOM’s call for Reparations from Britain and Europe for Slavery”

There are some people in the Caribbean including Dominica who are hungry parasitic politicians who’s apparent reason for talking about repatriation; do so for no other purpose, than a quest for money; money they hope will enriched themselves individually!

Reparation means “a repairing or keeping in repair.” that is not the sort of reparation the money hungry people in Dominica are after. They are talking about an act of making amends, such as giving amends, or satisfaction most likely in monitory payment for some sort of damages; in reality indemnification. We are in the year 2016, there isn’t a single soul who was enslaved alive to day; we do not have all the names of our ancestors born in slavery, so assuming the British and Dutch and all who were involved decided to give compensation in money, who shall be the payee recipient of this money?

Look at it this way; my grandmother was born on the…

    • Continuation:

Look at it this way; my grandmother was born on the first day of January, in the year 1890, she expired in the year 1993 at an age of 103 years old, she was not born a slave, she was never a slave, neither her mother and father before her; so in the event money was sharing right now which of her surviving generation would be paid her ancestors portion?

No matter what amount of money would be given in compensation, it would never be enough to compensate every black person in the Western Hemisphere, what these thieves are doing is simply a matter of blackmail, I do not care even if they claim they get support from the UN: I would suspect the support is not unanimous!

While we talk about slavery, and blame white people for such atrocities, we have forgotten that it was our very own tribal chief, and kings who sold our ancestors into slavery! Without the help, and corporation of our own people there could be no slavery, because no white man could have gone into West…

    • Finally:

Without the help, and corporation of our own people there could be no slavery, because no white man could have gone into West Africa, capture our people and walked out alive; so my question here is simple this; are those scoundrels who are craving money on the blood of our dead ancestors going seek reparation from the West African tribal chiefs and kings who captured our people from different tribes and sold us to the white man for money?

You know some people can never give it a rest; there are black people in America who are still looking forward to receive forty acres of land, and Mule promised by the government of the United States upon the abolition of slavery, they will die waiting, people do not use mules to plow these days, yet they insist on their mule and land.

In the case of those scoundrels in the Caribbean who are craving to prosper of the blood of the dead, they all will exists into oblivion before they taste the blood of our ancestors, and forefathers…

This is the most asinine report to come from a body that is as useless as they come.

We do not want reparation. What we want is true equal opportunity to improve our condition. Remove all the barriers that stand in the way of us making real progress. These include better education, equal opportunities to advance in the workplace, better health education and health care, stop treating our people with suspicion by virtue of the colour of our skin. Stop imprisoning our people for minor offences.

    Just treat us as equals.

I do not know of one people who have made progress in life by being give handouts, no matter how rich the country in which they live. Look at the natives in Canada, the US and Australia. Billions of dollars have been spent on native affairs, and just look at the present condition? There are barriers to theor progress, but the point is throwing money at the problem will not make us a better people.

Once the barriers to progress are removed, we will move…

    • “Remove all the barriers that stand in the way of us making real progress. Just treat us as equals.”

Whereas all of the above make sense, you must remember that we have do beginning doing for ourselves as an independent nation. All that you mentioned seems to be an internal matter or problem, which has nothing at this time to do with slavery, we were long emancipated, and colonized.

Under the British live was more tolerable, and if is one thing they did is; they educated us. We became eager for political power, forgetting political power with economic power; political power has no value! How can another tribe or species of people treat us with respect, when in Dominica we do not respect each other!

A native aboriginal man in Canada was telling me about injustices suffered at the hands of the early white settles in Canada. Most of what he said related to land claims and I had to agree with him.

Then he said “There was one good thing the white people did. They brought us the gospel.”

Unfortunately, other white men bought alcoholic beverages.

He became an alcoholic. But then he heard the gospel and was saved. Jesus delivered him :!: After that he served as the elected chief of his reserve for (I think it was) about 18 years, and held a position in Federal Native politics for a time before being appointed a Justice of the Peace, (J.P.) Later he was ordained to the Christian ministry and built a beautiful church on his reserve. I preached in that church Sundays for several years, and on some Saturdays when they had monthly rally services.

They have received everything from handouts to even the Borrough of Manhattan, NewYork, even their own homeland Israel. Reparations continue to this day. I’m sure you’ve never heard them arguing among themselves against the reparations nor handouts, neither have they received the equality that you so strive for. Dream on that equality thing. The advent of chattel slavery as a result of the triangular trade (the transatlantic slave trade) between the late 16th Century and early 19th Century was one of, if not the most, barbaric and violent event in human history. The ancestors of millions of black people living today bore the physical scars of brutal lashings, amputations, castrations, rape, being ripped apart by horses, lynchings and the like. It was a system where the black man and woman were considered sub-human simply because of his or her skin color and he/she was treated brutally because of it. The sad part is that even as chattel slavery was abolished by law, the system was perpetuated until the early 1960’s in the United States and the Caribbean through disenfranchisement, class status, segregation, injustice and the denial of the right to vote. It is largely because of the perpetuation of a system based on skin color that left black people disproportionately poor why reparations are sought.

Leading up to, and during, World War 2 the Jews suffered a terrible holocaust under the hands of Adolph Hitler and the Nazi Regime. In recent years, descendants of the victims of the Holocaust has received and continue to receive reparations for this terrible act of human deprivation. Today, the effects of the transatlantic slave trade continues to be evident in the level of poverty and racial imbalance on all levels in modern society throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Reparations are necessary to impact this imbalance and to right a wrong that continues to plague the descendants of the strong black men, women and children who lived and died under a system that deprived them of their human right to live free and without constant fear of sufferation or death. It is a fact that this particular period of chattel slavery created a system of racial imbalance that continues even to this day. The only way to address this is through economic empowerment!

Of course there where false gods among the heathen nations before Christ was born 2,000 years ago. Some of these were “trinities” of a sort. Satan made sure of this. The Hindu religion with its thousands of false gods has a triune deity.

But the true and living God always existed as The Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1) In this verse the Hebrew word GOD is a word that shows a plurality in unity. Horus, Iris, and Osiris (whoever they were) did not outdate the God of heaven who said “… … … I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” (Isaiah 44:6)

    1) Central banks are foreign owned
    2) All currencies are fiat currencies
    3) We are all taxed to the hilt. Why? If all currencies are fiat, why do we have to pay taxes? All the government can do is just to print off some more bills and voila!!

The Zimbabwe dollar was suspended indefinitely as it chose to work outside the Central Bank system to its credit. Zimbabwe has now adopted a multiple currency framework which includes the Australian Dollar, Botswana Pula, British Sterling Pound, Chinese Yuan, Euro, Japanese Yen, Indian Rupee, South African Rand, and United States Dollar – a brilliant move!

By comparison, it’s big friend, the USA has a national debt of more than $18 trillion dollars which it can NEVER repay and which, every year, goes up? But the dollar is still good currency. Funny :) Why can’t the Zimbabwe folks do that?

Whilst you are at that, kindly explain who owns the following Central Banks: USA, Caribbean, UK? I’ll help you with that, they are ALL privately owned.

So private individuals are able to DECIDE on the monetary policy of a nation (how much its currency is worth and how much it can print and borrow) and yet still, we are not slaves to these people? You are slave class my friend

Very interesting Terrence, why doesn’t Zimbabwe use other African currencies, apart from the S.African Rand and Botswana Pula. And who decides the exchange rates between the various currencies on a daily basis? Is there a black market in hard foreign currencies in Zimbabwe? Thank you.

      • Response to Tjebe fort
        October 7, 2016

Tjebe fort are you crazy? Terence has just told you that the USA is $18 trillion in a debt that keeps going up and up each year which it can NEVER repay and you are having a go at there being a ‘black market’ for currency trading in Zimbabwe??

The only reason the US dollar hasn’t crashed yet is because the US is the military arm of the NWO. Now having said that, are you aware that SDR’s are now the de facto world currency which replaces the dollar? Perhaps more people than me are coming to realise that the dollar as a fiat currency is worthless now and only has its status through an outright scam!

By the way, think about the Euro? It is a 100% fiat currency and all the countries who use is are seriously broke and in ‘austerity’ mode. Do you know how this ‘austerity’ came about? It was due to a default of private banks which the citizens of these countries were enslaved into ‘bailing out’.

And that 1% number is so warn out, crazy conspiracy theorist have been saying this for the past decade now, don’t you think it has risen by now? Since the number of millionaires and billionaires have risen drastically in the past decade?

        October 7, 2016

Dominican Passports, there are 540 billionaires and more than 15 million millionaires in the USA. Compare that to around 129 million working Americans (from a population of 300 million) who have an average salary of USD40,000 per annum. You can do the math and work out where the 1% comes from.

If you think this is conspiracy, I would suggest that the conspiracy is coming from your side, or you study elementary maths.

By the way, out of the US’s 300 million population, only 129 million are in work. this means that more than half the population of the USA are very poor, just like us back here.

Tell me, my friend, how is the world ‘overpopulated’ when all of the people on earth can fit into a country as small as New Zealand (https://www.fastcoexist.com/3016331/visualized/think-the-world-is-crowded-you-could-fit-the-entire-human-race-in-new-zealand)?

as a black man im sad to say the real truth is that no white man ever caught a black African and put him into slavery
it was our fellow black people in Africa that caught us and tied us and sold us to the white man as a slave

its sad but its a fact that no white man could run down an African in the bush and sell him into slavery . the back rulers of the day sold of people from neighbouring tribes that they found during wars and sold them to the whites .
and if the number of captives wasn’t enough they would round up there own people from out lying villages and ship them to the slave forts to make up the numbers

that is the sad but real truth behind it
black people in those days we strong agile hunters and farmers so no white man could have run down a black man in the bush and captured him

if you don’t believe me show me 1 white man that can run down the top 10 fastest Jamaican sprinters

I think you have a misconception of the facts. Firstly do you know of the 1st encounter when black men saw whites, they thought they were ghosts and ran away. Secondly the white man had weapons that far out powered the wooden bows and arrows and hand made spears and knives and as a result intimidated and brought our ancestors into sub-mission.Thirdly they brainwashed our ancestors by exchanging guns for our brothers and sisters and so this injustice and selling into slavery began. It all began with the transatlantic voyage off whites visiting our mother land Africa to capture our black people to work in their homelands under harsh conditions as the lower class whites and indigenous Indians could not sustain those conditions, Please my brother do a little more research ,seems that you may have been brainwashed as well

I have this picture in my mind of a white man coming out of an African bush. He is dressed in
white wearing a broad brimmed tourist hat, and carrying a black man kicking and screaming off to sell him in some British or American slave market.

Sorry, it is no laughing matter. But you and I know this is not how it happened. Blacks were sometimes sold by blacks. And there have been times in history when black people had white slaves.

Nevertheless, slavery was a sin against God and a crime against humanity in one of its grossest forms. Has America ever officially apologized :?: They need to do so and then remove the remaining barriers to the progress and well being of black Americans.

I never doubted that big companies profited from slavery. They still profit from getting people to work for minimum wages, and exploiting the public.

What I said is that I don’t know how the Vatican and other denominations profited from slavery, although they may have. Some churches in the U.S. may have been built by slaves. These church buildings would have been locally owned by the people and used by them.

When I visit a nation outside Canada or the U.S. to conduct evangelistic crusades my trips are paid for entirely by churches in Canada and my Canadian partners. I do not take a single dollar from the people in the countries I visit. Sometimes we give them money. I have made 17 trips to foreign countries staying up to 16 weeks on a single trip preaching most evenings.

Our Canadian churches have poured many thousands of dollars into foreign countries to build churches, schools, orphanages, clinics, hospitals, to dig wells for clean water, and much more.

Sixteenth- and 17th-century customs statistics suggest that Istanbul’s additional slave import from the Black Sea may have totaled around 2.5 million from 1450 to 1700.[3] The markets declined after the loss of the Barbary Wars and finally ended in the 1830s, when the region was conquered by France

There are numerous organizations that call themselves churches. All they have in common is the fact that they believe in a “god” of some kind. You make a big mistake by lumping them all together and calling the Church. I don’t know how any of the groups you mention here benefited from slavery.

Christian church and ministry workers such as pastors, teachers, doctors, nurses, and construction workers are in Haiti and on other islands helping the people even as I write this. Members of my own group are not lacking among these. I have served on other Caribbean islands but have not yet been to Haiti.

The Rev. Hill is not a coon. He is a white man who was some sort of law enforcement investigator (police) who has now turned to the church. Jim Jones was an ex-CIA man who became a pastor and we all know how that went. There are some people on here who might fit that description as the brainwashing of Christianity still runs deep.
It teaches us to that in times of hardship and despair to fall on our knees and beg rather than stand up and fight for ourselves. Many black people have more faith in the white Jesus than they do in themselves or black people in general. I am trying to understand how the Vatican, Methodist, and Anglican churches benefited from slavery.

Christian churches and ministries have built schools, orphanages, clinics, and hospitals, dug clean water wells, and rescued girls from the sex trade in African countries to the tune of millions of U.S. and Can. dollars. This work is being done as I write and is escalating each year.

My wife and I are personally involved in this work. We support it out of pocket on a monthly basis, and some years give thousands of Can. dollars to foreign missionary work that involves – not just preaching – but practical relief and welfare projects such as I have mentioned. My ministry LIVING HOPE MINISTRIES also sponsors us to go foreign lands to conduct gospel crusades sometimes in the largest full gospel church in the nation, and in ball parks and open fields to capacity and overflowing crowds. We do not accept money from the people in the nations we visit.

Did you know during slavery there were blacks who sold blacks into slavery? There were also times in long ago history that black people had white slaves.

No intelligent caring whites or blacks ever endorsed this vile practice and it gives us all a lot of grief just to know that it happened.

      Rev. Hill,
Your response tells that it wasnt the blood and bones of your ancestors that the wealth of that country was built on. Therefore, it is easy for you to say lets just sweep it all under the carpet and forget it. The ‘lets just keep things as they are’ attitude only suits those who have benefitted from the evils of slavery to maintain the status quo.
The British Govt wasnt forced to pay compensation to the planters (slavers) but they did so why wouldnt you want the descendants of slaves to have a share or at least be somewhat compensated?
The peace you talk of is your own, not the welfare of black people otherwise you would be first in line to support a fairer distribution of the wealth that was created by the mass murder and expolitation of African people.
Instead I see you as a person who was part of the repressive state apparatus (law enforcement) that has moved onto the repressive state institution (church) to deliver black people into God knows what. Jim Jones…

No place on earth is Christianity spreading as quickly it is on the African continent. Some of the largest Christian churches in the world are in Africa. They are under the leadership of black pastors who are training black missionaries to go and preach the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

Religion has our minds warped and that’s why we know nothing about our history because your religion does not support us reading our ancestors’ stories because we are taught only to read the bible which keeps us dumb and stupid as a race of people.

Nobody in the African story (you must mean history) by that name? I assume you mean the name of Jesus. That name is above every name! Someday at the mention of that name every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that HE is Lord.

Does African history mention Moses? He was a Hebrew but he was adopted by an African princess in Egypt and grew up in the palace. Moses was a prophet. He wrote prophetically (in advance) about Jesus Christ by Divine inspiration and foretold about His work.

Does African history mention Joseph? He was a Hebrew and became the P.M. of Egypt for a time.

Jesus lived in Africa (Egypt) with his parents for several years during His young life. I would be surprised if Egyptian history mentioned him. He was not revealed to the world as the Christ (Messiah) until later in life. During those early years in Egypt He was not living and ministering in the power of His Divine office. I expect He appeared quite ordinary.

Rev. Hill, it was not a just a few individuals who did their things and owned slaves. Slavery was institutionalized! That means the US @ that time made it a law, it was legal, you could buy, sell and kill your pigs, chicken, and your slaves. The country did it and it was great beneficial to them at that time and they still reap.the benifefit of it today.

      • October 6, 2016

        Thank you Lil!

Individuals “owned” slaves. Not just a few. Many individuals “owned” slaves. Some of them were united in corporations or companies, etc.

Slavery was “legal”. If this made it an institution then it was an institution. It was evil. Nobody in their right mind would approve such a vile practice.

But it was “legal” because governments made it legal. Now these nations have made – or are making – gambling, prostitution, marijuana, and same sex marriage legal. Some of the same nations that approved slavery have now approved same sex marriage :!:

Those who advocate for “gay rights” brag to us about the nations that have already legalized same sex marriage. Some of these nations legalized slavery centuries before. All this proves is that governments make mistakes and some of them are incredibly stupid.

        The Bible says

“… … … … if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”(Isaiah 8:20)

    • “The US did not “own” slaves. Individuals “owned” slaves. Those individuals are long gone.”

Indeed Mr. Hill, slave ownership was an individual thing, nevertheless, it was encouraged by the State, by governments. There were laws in America which permitted slavery, and the ownership of slaves.

America was built with the blood and sweet of human slaves, these people were treated worst than beast of burden, they were treated as if they had no feelings; the slave masters and owners would take pleasure in setting a black human on fire with the belief they would be burnt and did not feel the heat of the fire.

Black archetech, and trade men built the White House, when they were finished building it they could not enter into it. The same as the Chines and black people built all the rail-roads in America, when they completed, the Chines especially could not ride inside of the cars.

      • Finally:

In spite the fact the constitution of the United States claimed “all men are born equal,” in slavery that part of the constitution did not apply to black people, the constitution of the United States, protected exclusively white people. Slavery was a government sponsored thing in America, and the Caribbean, now we know that Canada did not tolerate Slavery as escaping slaves from the south in America, made their way to Canada, hence we find a large population of Black people in Nova Scotia!

I might return with a brief in regards to Dread Scott a slave written about in American History.

      • October 6, 2016

Thank you Fransico! I value the info you share.

The way the United States allowed black people to be treated was in violation of their human rights. It was contrary to THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

How could American people get away with behavior that so contradicted their own CONSTITUTION :?: “…all men are born equal, …” etc. Their treatment of black citizens is a
glaring picture of their inner rot. Thank God, not all of them. I have many American friends.

I am a great admirer of Dr. Martin Luther King, Ph.D. Had it been in my day I would have marched with him.

Please excuse me if I make mistakes. I was born, raised, and for the most part educated in Canada. My knowledge of American history is sketchy at the best. I stood in the pulpit in a sense of awe and prayed for their community.

        Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill.

You are truly endorsing what your forefathers did by continuing to preach your jesus to us because your bible supports what happened to our ancestors. Of course there was no one in Africa by the name jesus before your ancestors robbed, pillaged, killed and snatched our fore-parents against their will. That’s why some of them committed suicide during the middle passage. If your ancestors had left Africa alone then there would be no need to build orphanages, wells etc., as you mentioned. Why is it that so many Caucatians are in Africa? Because they have stolen the land from the people and are reaping the wealth as Africa is the wealthiest continent yet there is so much poverty. All of that is due to the Caucasians taking over the land that did not belong to them. Africa was NEVER in that crisis before your people. Why is it that you all can’t leave African people alone? We do not need your jesus. There is nothing that this icon can do because it is all mythology.

      UNAPOLOGETIC

      • If you believe that; your own words, you will believe anything!

The Bible does not support evil of any kind; nevertheless, there are people who missed used the Bible based on their own interpretation of the word of God. Let me show you this. Course is he that look upon the nakedness, of his father.

Now there are preachers who profess; even black preachers too who believe the curse spoke about is on Black people, but remember that is written in the Old Testament, the old Testament most likely concerns the Jews, in Jesus day his ministry and dealings were with the Jews to the day he was risen from the dead.

You heard of ” Jews, and Gentiles.” When Paul was appointed by Jesus Christ it was to bring the Word and teachings of Christ to the Gentiles, so tell me how the curse in the Old Testament could pertain to the Gentiles when we are under the grace of God, and not under the Law!

I try to make it simple, I hope you are able to comprehend it all. I agree that the Roman…

      • I agree that the Roman Catholics and other religions used the Bible to condone their philosophy, in regards to black people. They claim that Black people should be slaves to white people, the Bible does not teach that, again even black preachers condone such nonsense.

Time and space is not available for a complete breakdown, but I advised you to study the word of God for yourself allow the Holy Sprit to give you the capacity to understand what you read, hence you will not be a judge of others.

Again I say most of you blame white people for all of the ills of Black people, when we are our worst enemy!
