CNN and other news organizations were blocked Friday from a White House press briefing.
There was no immediate explanation from the White House.
The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico were also excluded from the meeting, which is known as a gaggle and is less formal than the televised Q-and-A session in the White House briefing room.
The Associated Press and Time magazine boycotted the briefing because of how it was handled. The White House Correspondents Association is protesting.
The conservative media organizations Breitbart News, The Washington Times and One America News Network were allowed in.
Hours earlier, at the Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington, President Trump mocked and disparaged the news media. He said that much of the press represents “the enemy of the people.”
“They are the enemy of the people because they have no sources,” Trump said. “They just make them up when there are none.”
He also said reporters “shouldn’t be allowed” to use unnamed sources.
Rev. Donald Hill D.D., I like your out rage against what you believe in regards to the US President. But pray! tell me good Rev. where is your out rage at Roosevelt Skerrit’s refusing access to the opposition to the Nation Station “DBS” and excluding Q95 FM Radio Station from addresses and national announcement?
Is that OK with you Reverend? I would like you to remember that Christ whom you claim to be representing, and in whose name you come, described some who made similar claims as hypocrites, and bid them to go from Him.
Now do not misunderstand me, I am not accusing you of been a hypocrite, I am merely thinking out aloud, it is for you to determine.

President Trump said journalists should not be allowed to use unnamed sources.
This shows how little Mr. Trump knows about journalism. Many people would not give info to a journalist if they could not trust him (her) not to betray the source. It goes with the territory. Some journalists have regular sources in key positions they depend on for vital info. Other sources know it could cost them their
jobs if it was known they talked to a journalist.
The people deserve to know the truth. Whether it is government, business, or religion. Give us honest ethical journalists who will dig out the facts and put them on the table! Just make sure it is the truth! If you have documentation about a cultish pastor or a fraudulent evangelist who is ripping people off and conning the public give it to us
The President dislikes journalists and as far as I am concerned this makes him suspect.

Surely Mr. Editor you can do better than that. It seems to me that DNO is degenerating into a tabloid driven by misinformation, and a mouth piece for Astaphan and the Skerrit cabal.
If as stated in this here headline that the press was blocked by the white house how did the press get information? Either you personally did not hear well or you choose to repeat propaganda, because what I learnt was that the entire press core was invited and were present, but that optional press representatives were invited, in which case not all were invited due to space limitations.
Part of the problem with local media persons pretending to be experts on all things American, but when the Dominican PM excludes one Radio Station, and denies the opposition access to the Nation Station DBS, not a sound is heard. Such hypocrascy is really unbecoming of any media outlet, let alone one that claims to be independent.
It has been pointed out that one of the first things a dictator does is eliminate the media.

It about time that the NY Times and the Clinton News Network got their comeuppance. These fake news outlets constantly report bad things about Mr. Trump and give no credit for any of the really amazing things for America that he is doing in such a short space of time.
The media cannot accept the fact that their crowned princess Clinton was defeated by a man who has no political experience,not even at village council level. Just imaging CNN is hosting a presidential debate and CNN is giving the questions to Clinton in advance.
