Roseau, Dominica – Monday, January 13, 2014 – The Government of Dominica has joined the Catholic
community in congratulating Dominican born Archbishop Kelvin Felix on his appointment as Cardinal of
the Roman Catholic Church. Archbishop Felix was one of nineteen new Cardinals named by Pope Francis
on Sunday, January 12, 2014.

Hon. Reginald Austrie, Prime Minister (Ag.) described the appointment of Archbishop Felix to the position of Cardinal, as a proud moment for Dominica. Hon. Austrie extended congratulation to Archbishop Felix on behalf of the Government and people of Dominica.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Dominica, I would like to congratulate Archbishop Kelvin
Felix on being named Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Francis’ decision to select Archbishop Felix as one of 19 new Cardinals from around the world shows wisdom and foresight in expanding the church in developing countries.

From his ordination as a priest in 1956 Archbishop Felix has served with distinction throughout his long career in the Catholic Church. Having been ordained Archbishop in 1981 and serving in that position for twenty-seven years overseeing the dioceses of Castries, St. Georges and Roseau Archbishop Felix has been a shining example of what a Catholic priest should be.

We in Dominica are very proud or Archbishop Felix’s achievements in the Catholic Church. His decision to return home after retiring as Archbishop demonstrated his love for country and desire to play his part in the spiritual development of his people.
On behalf of the Government and people of Dominica, in particular, the Catholic Community, we congratulate Cardinal select Felix and wish him great success in his new vocation. will continue to pray for him asking God to give him the guidance he needs to continue his Ministry.”

Speak for yourself.  Too often some people forget themselves, their type of lifestyle, sometimes devoid of God, his blessing, graces and peace and judge others. This is like putting their mouths in the private affairs of others and wrongfully accusing them.
What about you cleaning up your act before God and cleansing your soul. God knows you, who you are, what is imbedded in your mind, heart and soul including your lifestyle.
How do you stand before God? If you were to die today and immediately at that, where do you think your soul will end up in Heaven or Hell? This is mortal and spiritual food for thought.
Give this a good thought and medicate on it including changing your lifestyle and not judging others.
Types like you and your words show disdain for God and to Him because you have no respect for his consecrated ones. This is where a change of heart, a change is needed and change most come.

Here we go again, this is the fifth time in the month of January, Regie has to act as Prime Minister. Apparently, Skeritt is not learning from Mr. Lennox Linton. As a leader, the people must know your whereabouts, what a leader.
