Congratulations to the gold and silver medalists, and to all the other athletes who represented Dominica. Those who did not bring back medals tried their best and deserve commendation also.

There is hope for the future of all these local athletes. They just need the right facilities and training to achieve their fullest potential. The athletes have done their part. Now, the government needs to step up to the plate and provide the requisite resources to the athletes. They have an obligation to do this.

imagine if we had proper athletics facilities what ” ALL” these kids could have achieved.

Skerrit is High time you fly off that horse and do what has to be done for sports and the kids. The stadium lights are still down , power supplies overturned yet you talk of sports? Seriously?

One day Dominicans are going to see the KoolAid you’ve been feeding them isn’t what you make it seem , One day Skewo.. One sweet Day.
