The Grotto Home for the Homeless (Community Hostels Inc) today received a food hamper from LIME Dominica as the company honors a Christmas promise to the home. During the Christmas season, customers were invited to contribute non-perishable items which would later be donated to the residents of the Grotto Home for the Homeless.
With a combined contribution from the public and LIME, the food hamper was this afternoon presented to the home’s Supervisor, Lucia Blaize Jones. This gesture forms part of LIME’s commitment to assist the less fortunate of our communities. LIME currently makes a monthly donation of five hundred dollars ($500.00) to Community Hostels Inc. to assist with the sustenance of the Grotto home.
The sharing also continued at LIME this afternoon when the final winners of LIME’s ‘Share the Cheer’ Christmas campaign will be presented with their prizes.
Ten Samsung Galaxy tablets, fifteen cash prizes of one hundred and thirty-five dollars ($135.00) each; plus twenty cooking gas cylinder and fuel vouchers will be handed to the lucky LIME winners. Customers qualified by topping-up fifteen ($15.00) or more and by paying postpaid bills in full and on time. The fuel & gas vouchers required customers to topup twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or more to qualify.
The Christmas specials on handsets continue until Saturday January 4th, 2014 with phones as low as $65. The Alcatel One Touch T’Pop and Nokia Asha android handsets are available at the unbeatable price of $239.00. Customers can also continue to enjoy up to 80% discount with selected data plans.
It is always good to read that there are still people in Dominica who is concerned about lending a helping hand–no matter what the size of the hand may be.
People of Dominica, we are indeed a “God fearing people”, let us continue to show that “truth” through our attitude and conducts of Love–for they are the Ways of God, who gives us Life. Blessings!
