Sad, sad story with de Chinese … Instead of enhancing the Chinese to build a total new complex at a new site with helicopter landing facility younallow them to start anothe ruine spoiling your contry. Btw you could help them to get rid of their plastic image by urging them to use “green” and high quality materials on a natural island! Make them to start a reference project as a part of new strategy in Chinese developing grant to natural paradieses…

Skerrit – never too late to carry out a mistake! You ‘d better been at the Latin American Summit in Vienna instead of sitting with the Arabs!

Hopefully, this project is completed within 30 months and not a day longer. Too many projects start in DA and never seem to finish….please make this import institution an exception.

I cannot believe anything this dlp administration says even if I am a laborite. To me they are a bunch of impressionist, full time liars, and manufacturers of deception. Yes, they have Chinese fencing hospital just before independence to give people especially those in the diaspora, the impression that they working so they could call a snap election again to stay in power. But people need to understand that the presence of Chinese does not mean it is real. Let’s not forget after Erika destroyed Dominica, especially the EO LeBlanc highway those Chinese built, Skerrit reported to the nation that Dominica had gotten an early Christmas gift from China to rebuild the west coast road that was so heavily damaged. That was in 2015. 2016 almost finish and I have not seen Chinese. All we have seen is two friends of the pm from portsmouth, that never build a toilet, on west coast road most times without the supervision of an engineer. Too much lies, deception and corruption

Pleased to know about this new national hospital and the progress. It will be necessary for those who need those services.
Fellow D/cans this does not mean you should not take good care of your health. Precaution is better than cure especially when young.
Some nationals lived to be a ripe old age and did not require hospital care; some, not until their latter years.
Eat your healthy fruits, vegetables. Drink juices, milk, herb tea and water and whatever else is also necessary for good health and longevity,
Enjoy your beautiful country with its sun; rain too  and other natural resources which God has endowed you. All serve a useful purpose.
Most of you have a computer system. Access health information.
Know that God gave us a body. He expects us to live well, happily and peacefully, eat well, sleep well and take good care of ourselves.
Yes! We will be held accountable how we live and treat our bodies.
    God bless!

The Chinese just build a road to Portsmouth and during every rain fall some part of the road falling apart, so how on God’s Green Dominica we still want these guys to build a place where will care for our ill noh?
They never allow locals on the project because they say that they cant speak the language, but when they go to Europe to build the locals there are employed in the construction sites. It seems like our negotiators are bullied into signing some shady deals.

Check the past contractual records of all Chinese companies because the Chinese build a hospital in Zambia and after a few years 3 quarters of the building fell down. First of all what is the communication means between the guys and our Dominican engineers?

laughable. a construction zone right on top on the existing hospital which has no AC in the patient wards just opened windows and blowing fans. I pray to GOD that i never fall sick and have to end up in that place during that period. Can you imagine someone with bronchial or asthma problems having trouble breathing, to only be inhaling dust and cement on a daily? running out of nebulizers and oxygen because of that same fact. then there is the noise. Disaster waiting to happen my friends.

Why do you not inquire if and/or suggest whether AC units will be installed? I recognize that these could be necessary especially from June to August when the weather could be extremely hot.
You must comprehend that AC units require much maintenance. They do not always operate properly. The cost of repairs could also be exorbitant. Therefore, think twice and more before you talk and write. Everything costs money. Talk is cheap.
