Dubai-based CBI firm opens first Caribbean office in Dominica

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit with Imran Farooq, Chief Executive AAA Associates

Dubai based AAA Associates (Business Migration consultancy firm) has announced that they have established their first office in the Caribbean based in Dominica.

The AAA Associates Caribbean office will serve sub-agents directly in the Middle East and Asian region and extend its reach in 11 strategic markets world-wide.

The Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programs offered by the Caribbean countries like Dominica, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia and Grenada have caught the interest of thousands of investors in recent years, following in the footsteps of dual-nationality seekers from the Middle East and Asia.

Among the UAE residents the demand for Caribbean citizenship has been increased to 51 per cent, especially for St. Kitts & Navis, Dominica, Grenada, Antigua & Barbuda and St. Lucia citizenship.

HNI residents from Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, India and Pakistan are keener to avail themselves of the opportunity to obtain strong 2nd Passports for travel convenience which is crucial for their business expansions, timely visa-free travel to Europe and other important countries of the world, and also for hassle-free international excursion trips with their families.

During a recent extensive trip to the Caribbean, Imran Farooq, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai-based AAA Associates, part of Samana Group of Companies, met with Caribbean heads of states and top executives of Citizenship by Investment Units (CIUs).

During a meeting with Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Farooq discussed industry best practices, regulations and growing investment opportunities in the Caribbean, especially in Dominica, which is amongst the most popular Citizenship by Investment programmes in the whole region.

“The purpose of higher management of AAA Associates detailed visit to the Caribbean region and meeting with the Heads of States along with the Heads of Citizenship by Investment Units was to set up strong connectivity among all stakeholders for smooth and fast process as AAA Associates is not only a marketing agent but a completely independent processing agent,” Farooq said.

He added, “I had very successful discussions with the Prime Minister of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit and Head of Citizenship by Investment Unit H.E. Emmanuel Nanthan. The Government has been very supportive in setting up AAA Associates’ office in Dominica and looking forward for success as AAA Associates market reach will increase.”

Dominica, generally known as nature’s island of Caribbean, offers one of the most economic Citizenship by Investment packages, starting from US$100,000 through government’s Donation programme, or US$200,000 investment in Real Estate that entitles the investor to gain the Citizenship of Dominica, which is irrevocable once granted and allows visa-free travel to 120+ countries, including Schengen zone.

Dominica citizenship by investment programme is legally entrenched in law, and since local law does not contain any restrictions on holding dual nationality. Obtaining second citizenship by investment in the country is a confidential and trustworthy process that does not require a person to renounce their existing citizenship.

Dubai-based AAA Associates, with the biggest immigration processing department in the Middle East, is a one-stop solution for business migration and second citizenship needs. Company’s UAE offices receive the highest number of immigration files submitted from a single location, as compared to any other immigration consulting firm the Middle East.

With the new office in Roseau, the capital of Dominica, AAA Associates plans to explore further investment opportunities and penetration into Caribbean markets and Government entities to serve its large client base in the seamless and best possible manner. The newly set-up AAA office in Dominica has no local partners, and is a fully owned subsidiary of AAA Associates UAE headquarter.

Everything good seems to be flying over Dominica while everything that is bad, dangerous, and what no Caribbean islands want, are the very thing Skerrit bringing. An Interview airport for example, would be great for Dominica…not just for tourism but more importantly it would create many jobs for our people. But that Skerrit does not want because it would cause too many people to be financially independent, so he took ours and shipped it to St. Vincent. Another example is that of Ross University that opperated here from our independence in 1978 and created many, many, many jobs in Dominica, but on their 40th Anniversary, Skerrit kicked them out and sent them to Barbados. Now see who he brought down for our 40th anniversary? Now could this not be one of the reasons why Skerrit had to force Ross University out so they could not spy on these questionable people and businesses he is bringing? Something is telling me that there coming was well planned

INTERPOL should investigate him for fraud, financial theft etc. etc. A full audit of the treasury records needs to be conducted to find out what happened to the millions already Donated to the Dominican government.

Well they are corrupt, childish, irresponsible and a big failure. They have us in poverty now for over 18 years. Nothing substantial is going on to help we the people of Dominica. After the Prime Minister/minister of finance becomes a billionaire he will flee Dominica before he can be put on trial for theft and leave the people, the true Dominicans holding the bag, he is selling the island. Soon the people born on Dominica will be ruled like slaves the island will no longer be theirs because he is selling all the land to enrich himself and his friends. He is licking his chops just thinking about all the millions he will get posing as fake minister of finance conducting a fraud on the people of Dominica. All those millions donated after hurricane Maria should be in the treasury, where is it?

“caught the interest of thousands of investors in recent years, following in the footsteps of dual-nationality”(Article DNO).

Roosevelt should be ashamed of that lie in  the quote; Dominica Citizenship By Investment does not exists. What Roosevelt has is simply the sale of the nation passports to criminals: And we know that based on the amount of criminals wanted by their country for crimes they committed; and when captured they claimed  to be citizens of Dominica, some holding Dominica diplomatic passports.

If investors were buying citizenship as Roosevelt claims under a legitimate CBI program, every investor who bought citizenship would have invested in some industrial business in the country; hence everybody who need  a job would have one; thus there would not be any jobless, poor people in the country.

Citizenship By Investment means citizenship is granted to an investor after they establish a business in the country, employing people where there is such a program;…

Not so much the U.S.A. they want to enter. Remember, to go to the U.S. days with Dominican passport you must apply for a visa and go to their embassy in Barbados in person for an interview. But you can visit all the countries of the EU without a visa. That is the big prize for these people but with the cavalier attitude of our government I see big troubles ahead and that privilege severely restricted. Still, the big boys already made their money and will leave us peasants in worse poverty than now.

Hopefully, the research on this company will help us understand the association.

    http://aaa-international.com/citizenship/

The organization represents EU countries, the Caribbean, the US and Canada.

I personally don’t think that the CBI or RBI programmes are anything bad, it is one of the ways to attract foreign investors who otherwise does not have any incentive for investing in small developing states or even develop states which is not their own. It is just that these countries must ensure puissant due diligence.

Guy you do not know what you are talking about!

How many years has Roosevelt and his sales men like that guy been selling Dominica passports to foreign unsavory people; who do not know Dominica  geographic location in the world? Over the years they been selling Dominica, none of us know how many of these people are holding our passports.

In spite of that how many of these people do you know ever set up a business in Dominica, or even attempted to set up a business  in Dominica? This guy you see posing with Roosevelt is in Dominica to take from our country, get rich off the blood of people like you who do not see anything wrong with what Roosevelt has done, and is doing to the country!

Roosevelt is getting rich, his passports salesmen, and women are all rich: Do you have a paying job? Take a look at Dominica, and compare it to the rest of the Eastern Caribbean you find we are the most backward!

The problem with the Skerrit run CBI program is a total lack of:
      a) financial accountability
      b) administrative accountability
      c) a clear statement on due diligence

It’s not the same over and over again with this man, everything is secret: the CBI program, the MOU and the most recent agreement with China and the sudden departure of RU. Man if you got nothing to hide, brief the citizens of Dominica on these issues. In case you can’t or you are unable to do so I ask you to do the honourable thing and take your hat. This can not and will not continue like that!!!

This is a general response to all the feedback that I’ve gotten.
Again I do not believe the CBI programme is defective. Countries like Dominica have implemented it because helps to generate investments that directly stimulate a country’s economy in many aspects; in several branches. However, like all programmes, there are quirks and one of the first things that we must do to mitigate one of the biggest threats is to strengthen and promote effective due diligence processes. This programme has been active since 1993 and has been driven by all 3political parties of our times. Do you all have any objections to the other parties promoting the CBI? NO! This is because your repugnance now stems from your lack of support for the current ruling party. However, my conception of the matter is based on pure research analysis and logic not just of Dominica but in general.
So please do not insult me because my perception of the matter is different than yours. Thank you.

This man is a real political joker. You have a man standing there from away land, opening an office here and Skerrit feels nice shaking hands. Is he in the banana or lime, or oranges business? What really are we gonna benefit from this event. Yes, people will be buying passports, this man from far away land, will have his cut, from sales, he will earn a salary I bet a handsome fee. No ne comes from this far and is paid in EC$. His fees will be high and deposited in his account somewhere far away. Now , will he be paying taxes or just another one f them. Skerrit behaves like a four year child who has just received a toy car from his long lost uncle. Dan it, we are in deeeeeeep Sh…t…in this country under failed Skerrit and his corrupt labour government.
