Zadok Ministries International and The Wesley Toronto Community Group have teamed up to provide assistance to two families from Wesley who lost everything in a fire last week.
In a release, the two Canada-based organizations said the families are now facing extreme challenges following the devastating incident and are calling on interested persons to help them to provide for the victims of the fire.
“It is during tragedies and emergency situations like this that we as human beings regardless of race, color and affiliations are tested in our genuine concern for humanity,” the groups said in their appeal. “As loving and caring people, we are able to transcend from our own needs to reach out to those whose needs are greater.”

Patricia Magloire, her two children and two grandchildren, lost all their belongings in the fire which gutted their home and are now living with relatives.

You have a good point! That money should be put in a private account, that opened for the purpose–many people will not trust the account of a Church–I wonder why we human beings cannot do things without leaving a flaw in our work.
So let us hope that God is in this, and He will take control of things, for the sake of those two families.

Another thing I wanted to say, is that Mr. Dodds, does not comment for the sake of contribution–not even for his own home village and its people. You should his favorite things when you read his comments foe the news articlesm which he chooses.
Elizabeth, you and your friends can talk about Mr. Dods as much as you wish, whatever is said does not fade me, I do not allow people to draw me into their thing. I get involve if and when my personal concern, and empathy dictates that I do so.
I give my money to whom I chose, and not to whom it is dictated I give to. Once there was a gentleman from Grand Bay who had Surgery, Brain Surgery that here in Los Angeles, long after he left the Hospital, his surgery paid for there were Dominica organization soliciting money from me in his name.
By then I had long mailed the gentleman a cheque, I called the Hospital here in Hollywood approximately eleven miles from my house, and I enquired if the guy was owing any money to the Hospital, and why I was making the inquiry.
I was informed by the Hospital that there was a zero (0) balance on the mans account, his account is paid in full, yet there were Dominicans collecting in his name.
When Wesley people want people to do something, they always come with some crap in the opposite hoping that their target will fall for their crap.
If someone need some help from me it would be better if they cam our and ask me to help, rather than talking nonsense.
If someone ask and I can help I might, but to sucker me into their mess, I will not fall for that, I do not scheme. I gave my money for causes in Wesley in the past, and individuals take all the credit as if all the money came from an individual pocket.
I wish them luck, and it is not because I do not reside in Canada!
As you Elizabeth knows, I go in and out of Canada any time I wish, If I wish I can get in any of my cars, this minute and head for Toronto, but you know I only do that in the Summer, too much Snow between here and Canada this time of the year so I will not risk my life to suite you!

this is a very good gesture.this is my opinion.i think this money should be going in an account made especially for this victims not in a church account how r u going to know which money is for the ministry and which is for the family?
There is a provision to indicate what a person is contributing towards if they should choose the deposit into any account.
That’s just what I was thinking their should be a seperate account set up for the victims I would like to make a donation but I will have to find another avenue to do so.

Dods, is my mothers madden which I chose to carry in memory of her forever because she brought me into this world, and so that my Children and grandchildren, and their children born in the United States, and elsewhere can trace their roots back to Dominica an thousand years from now.

The irony here is the donation of money is supposed to go into a Church account in Canada!
What happens to the Banks in Dominica, where an account could be opened in both the victim names, and donations could be sent there?
Thus, there would be transparency, if only one cent is collected nobody could argue that a dollar was collected, and the victims only got one cent!
Already, we read and hear of one victim name while the other is treated as an unknown, that to me is a red flag, talk about me as much as you people wish, I am saying; ” Roger and Out!”
