A Dominican living in St. Martin has made a documentary on the effects of Tropical Storm Erika on the island.

Kitian Francis, from the Kalinago Territory, visited the island after the storm with a team from St. Martin that was providing supplies for the needy.

He spent three days recording the scenes of devastation and talking to affected residents.

The first part of the documentary, Erika: The Aftermath, was aired on MSR Cable TV in St. Martin on October 12. The second part will be aired next week Friday.

The entire documentary was directed by Francis with Joel Ayuk assisting in editing. While filming in Dominica, he was assisted by Onan Thomas.

The trailer for the documentary was released in St. Martin at a press conference recently.
