The President described Dr. Liverpool as a ‘distinguished Dominican’

President of Dominica, His Excellency Charles Savarin, has described the late Former President Dr. Nicholas J.O Liverpool as “distinguished” and one who served above controversy.

“Dr. Liverpool is a distinguished son of the soil. He has reached the height of his professional career as an attorney, professor in law at the University of the West Indies, a judge and of course a President of the Commonwealth of Dominica,” Savarin said on state-owned DBS Radio.

The former president passed away on Monday.

“We are all saddened by his death. Dr. Liverpool was above controversy and a person who served the office of President with distinction and the country of Dominica will honor him in an appropriate way on his passing,” the President noted.

Liverpool was Dominica’s sixth President, serving from October 2, 2003 to September 17, 2012.

He was born in Grand Bay on September 9, 1934.

He had ,according to reports, been ailing for some time and resigned his tenure as president due to ill health.

All flags in Dominica will be flown at half -staff from June 2nd to the day after his burial, as a sign of respect for the fallen former President.

Yes, when Labour speaks the world listens. His Excellency, President Charles Savarin is an example of strong and respectable leadership. Will the critics ever accept that the Labour Party is going to be the Government of Dominica for at least another 30 years? Maybe not…they will call it Dictatorship. Yet 30 years from now they will still be losing free and fair elections. Take a hint fellas (Uneducated Wicked People), Dominica just does not like you. Sorry.

As Long as the Labour Party is able to be in office on their own merits and NOT through devious means then we do not have an issue. Before this corrupt and devious Labour Party government, Dominica had Labour Party in office without all these bad governance and bobol allegation.
For Dominica`s sake I hope this corrupt regime disappears NOW

In the first place you need to know that God is not supporting anything involving politics, so do not even mention God, believing Jehovah God, or Jesus Christ is involve in Dominica politics. If God ordained Skerrit to be ruler over the people of Dominica, Skerrit would not have to spent more than thirty million dollars last year to buy votes, that is stealing.

And what does the Bible teaches about thieves liars, and whore mongers?

So if he is protecting Skerrit politically, something is wrong. Finally, I am not the one who will destroy the government, I do not posses that amount of power.

There is something known as “self-destruct.” Eventually Skerrit will self-destruct, hence destroying himself, and his circus members, in his evil empire; other than that the oppressed people in Dominica have to pull the pedestal on which he sits from under him.

Your Excellency, President Savarin, we join you in sympathy and share the country’s grief as we mourn the death of one of Dominica’s most distinguished sons the late Former President Dr. Nicholas J.O. Liverpool who served our country well.

I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to former First Lady Mrs. Liverpool on the death of her beloved husband and their children on the death of their father and the rest of the family; and also to The Government and People of Dominica.

May God welcome him into the Kingdom of Heaven and may this new angel look down upon us on earth and pray for us all. Heaven knows Dominica needs prayers. I am honoured for having known this great Dominican.

May his soul rest in peace.

The very good thing about the late Liverpool; he was in-corruptible, unlike you and Skerrit, and the entire circus! You should not even come out and mention Liverpool name in your corrupt mouth; I fear you will contaminate his clean name, by not talking the truth about him.

You are a war monger; you are an instigator of evil, a very dangerous specimen:

    Hahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahhah

Talking about you are born again Christian. Where was your Christianity when cause death and destruction in our country; for forty days, and forty nights until Patrick succumb and surrendered to your wish.

You caused the first civil war in the Caribbean when you overthrew Patrick John, from your own Labor Party; that shall be your legacy, that’s how you will be remembered in Dominica’s history, you think because I felt sorry for you when you were sick, I let you off my hook?
