My condolences to the family of Mr. Swanston Carbon. Carbs, as I have long referred to him was a personal friend and political mentor. What Reggie Austrie is to the labour Party today is exactly what Swanston Carbon was to the DFP back then. He moved and wooed the crowds to the disgust and annoyance of the UWP.

I noticed that the captioned photograph is credited tot he Sun Newspaper. How interesting. The Sun and DNO have a major thing in common and that is to deliver news to the populace in a timely manner. They have mutually share and have shared resources to advance their common goal. That arrangement however does not take away the responsibility of either party to acknowledging and giving recognition to the original works of the other. Does that sound a familiar note? ?

This man was a giant in Dominican political life and will be sorely and sadly missed. I will miss in particular, his contributions towards analysis of the economy and budget speeches etc. I think that he was a truly honest contributor to the overall debate and truly loved his country and looked for its best interest. If he was a footballer, his t-shirt would have to be retired as there will be no other like him!!! Condolences to his family and all who were close to him. May he now rest peacefully with a heavenly welcome.

People it is time to show some respect to the members of this great patriot’s family and stop bringing politics into this time of mourning for these people. They are coping with tragedy right now and some of you are so heartless talking about whether the prime minister or president will attend. I mean come on man…. Show some respect.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit and Mrs Skerrit, and others are expected to attend the Official Funeral for the late Swanston Carbon? If Skerrit attends this funeral it will be as a last minute change of heart just to see if will get the votes of honest Euginia Charles Freedomites. Also, will Mrs. Skerrit accompany her husband to the funeral? Hell No! I don’t think I saw at bishop Daniel’s funeral yesterday, although the bishop and Skerro were very good pals, and I sure don’t even see the possibility of her attending Mr. Carbon’s who was not a friend of Skerrit. Oh, on a second thought maybe she might attend Mr. Carbon’s own on the basis that he was not a friend of Skerro. But if she does Skerro might boycott it you know. Don’t be surprised he bought an airline ticket already.

“Also, will Mrs. Skerrit accompany her husband to the funeral? Hell No! I don’t think I saw at bishop Daniel’s funeral yesterday…”

Where all that coming in!!. She did not attend, she did not attend. So what. I didn’t go cuz I was ill. How do you know she wasn’t ill, or the baby was ill or had a little issue, maybe she had her period and wasn’t feeling up to it. Relax, everything doesn’t have to be so political. CHILL OUT!!

Oh my god! ITassi too please get over this obsession you have with Skerrit and Melissa, jeez! I have been through five topics on DNO and you are on everyone of them talking about the PM and his wife, topics that are totally unrelated to them. Get help child, go see a shrink, this is stalking. If Skerrit broke your heart you need to get over it and move on. He is married to Melissa and its a done deal , Jesus I pity you, please get help before you do something stupid. I suspect you are really from Vieille CAse and you must be one of the girls he ditched.

Excellent job, Mr. Prime Minister. It will be interesting to see whether you attend, just like you attended the funeral of the pastor. I also hope the President will attend with his lovely wife, both were present at the funeral of the pastor. I wish to make a prediction, Mr. George will be representing the Prime Minister at the funeral.
