Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, has said that despite taking speech therapy Health Minister, Julius Timothy is back at work.

“He was in cabinet today … he is making his contribution,” Skerrit told reporters on Tuesday.

However, the prime minister pointed out that it is clear Timothy “is not out of the woods yet.”

“He is facing his own health challenges,” he noted.

Skerrit said that certain words were erased from Timothy’s memory “but as time goes by, he will get them back.”

He said the health minister is taking regular speech therapy.

“He is fine,” Skerrit stated. “God willing he will be his original self very soon.”

Timothy was airlifted to Martinique on May 1 after he suffered a stroke.

Charles saverin had his share and now tim tim … When will these old politicians learn to walk away from the political office … Is it worth dyin over? Is it an addiction? …. Is not like tim tim brokes or doesn’t have other income … I think its time some of these older politicians to step down and allow mature young heads to take up the mantle …or maybe I could be wrong ,some ppl are not built for politics look @ edo, prevost ,and armbrose dem seniors in de business and stronger than ever

For the present he could work part-time as half days; not a full day. Minister Timothy, please do not overdo it. Take it easy, each day at a time and in strides. You
have made a wise decision to return to work. You have some years ahead of you. My advice to you is, avoid any form of anxiety and stress. Observe proper nutrition. Also eat fish, fruits and vegetables including leafy greens as lettuce, spinach and the likes.
Drink ample water which pumps the blood, to the heart and to the brain. Get ample rest in the evening and weekends.
Most of all as you give God due homage, ask Him to heal you. May God restore you to the fullness of health. May his blessings be upon you.

Utilize your common sense if you have any. If he is able, can walk and has some speech why should he remain home? Furthermore, being at work contributes to his therapy.

So you mean all those health workers under Tim Tim not advising him …..man…leave this thing..and chill and do your therapy. Do a little physical exercise and some mental but don’t go back to Government work. Leave your business in the hands of competent people and manage from afar.
If you die now..is just calls re sympathies, casket, state funeral and the likes…if you die …20 years from now..most likely you will get the same then.
So play your cards right Tim Tim..play them right..

Tim Tim you have always been one of the very few politicians that I admire however, I thought you would call it quit, you don’t need that stress. I honestly think you should re-consider this decision to return to work and enjoy your retirement. Don’t be like Peirro. Relax! Relax! Relax and enjoy your retirement. We love you!

We wish Tim well. We thank Tim for his contribution. However, for his own personal well-being, he should say good bye and take an honourable bow out of the political arena in the same way that Charles Saverin intends to do or will be forced to do following the next general elections.

      Respectfully

Hello. Well Mr Alexander probably don’t understand the seriousness of his medical condition. It seems to me he wants to die on his feet while in office. It’s people like him who don’t want to retire and give another person an opportunity to contribute to our Country. I wish him good health and lots of luck but I am tired of people like him who think that our Country can’t proceed without them.

      June 26, 2013

Hello, Hello! which Alexander are u referring too ? I think that they are discussing about Julius Timothy.

      • June 27, 2013

Hello. You are absolutely correct I meant Mr Timothy. He should retire and try to enjoy the rest of his life.

    • anonymous2
      June 27, 2013

I don’t think that it has to do with what is good for the country but rather what they want to do financially and power-wise. Some people never want to retire.
