Michele Henderson and Aturo Tappin were fantastic and delivered awesome performances- and should definitely be on more events here in Dominica. The two French performers from Martinique were boring and one dimensional with very little response from the crowd- I would have preferred Dominican Heston from last year instead of them. Overall a great success and should be continued at the Cabrits the perfect venue for such an occasion – Roseau can continue to have the overpriced and too long WCMF to celebrate regional acts.
Great, initiative, one observation. Why our kids are feed all that junk? Let’s fix that Dominica
And to think all these years I thought water colors were for painting! Thanks for letting me know is eat Dominicans eating water color and balloons. Those are the only things I saw in the pics with the kids.
These pics did not help me AT ALL!!! I sooooo wanted to be there, but unfortunately a family emergency kept me away… now seeing the pics, all I have is longing…. can’t wait for next year God willing..

Great photos….Looks like a Who’s Who of Dominica’s social scene. However, not many foreign faces are seen at the event. Just wondering, wasn’t this event conceived to become a revenue earner by attracting visitors from the neighboring French islands . Would be nice to see L’ Express Des Iles dropping off hundreds French patrons at the Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth.
It was out of this world everyone had a lovely time , those are the type of pictures and events we need to bring back at home, we all can come together and enjoy each others company And you know something we have so many beautiful people in our Nature Island thanks be to the almighty father for those beautiful gifts.
PEACE AND LOVE !
Does Creole in ‘Jazz and Creole” refer to the music, people or language?
A splendid event indeed. Zaimis you captured the event very well. Keep up the good work
soo… only 2 artists?
Well my are still beautiful people; there is no contention against this. Thanks to you DNO for showing those of us who cannot see for ourselves–you know why.
Correction: My “people” are still beautiful people
