WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) — Terror organization al-Qaeda on Friday confirmed that its leader Osama bin Laden was killed during a U.S. operation last week.
Bin Laden was killed on Sunday during a secret U.S. mission at a compound in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad. Some had questioned his death, and Friday’s statement is the first recognition from the organization itself that its leader was killed.

We in Dominica seems to have a very short memory and we tend to forget our old friends once we get new friends. I was a little child when I first heard that we should “Make new friends but keep the old; one is silver the other is gold. I know we have not been getting much from the US but right on the other hand, they have not harmed us either. I don’t think any of the caribbean islands get US visas as Dominica but yet we tend to hate them. You can hardly walk the streets of the US including the USVI and Puerto Rico, without running into a Dominican. Now a days you can go to any of the small shops we have in our villages with a $US as if we are in the US, but yet we hate them.
I have nothing agaisnt China and I am grateful for their present contribution to our country. However, most of us don’t even know what their currency look like and very few of our people reside in China. My policy is love them as our new friends but don’t hate the US, our proven, faithful and true friend.
